It's just saying it's got a tie-up with the 'Onishima' game. Not sure what 'torino' is though.

Annabelle 3rd February 2006 11:21 AM

Torino is the city where the 2006 olympic games will be held, right?

~K+ 3rd February 2006 12:07 PM

I did a search, it seems the 06 Winter Olympics is held in 'Turin' indeed. NTV is a television channel, the song is probably tied with the broadcast of the Winter Olympics then.

Nu-NRG 3rd February 2006 12:41 PM

oh yea
Startin': Onimusha theme
Born To Be...: Torino Olympics theme

AyuGAME 3rd February 2006 01:06 PM

its just an explanation

alternarist 3rd February 2006 01:32 PM

wow! Startin' is featured in Onimusha and Born to be... featured in the Olympics... this is a MUST BUY single!! :D:D:D

Qt Mashi 3rd February 2006 02:21 PM

^ agreed! :D hopefully Ayu will make a good comeback from this single!

Yarumi 3rd February 2006 09:17 PM

why a comeback? is the olympics theme only going to be played in Japan?

Neo Daydream 3rd February 2006 10:08 PM

hmmm... you can watch the Olympics on TV right? so Ayu's song will be heard by Americans??

JimmyKoria 3rd February 2006 11:08 PM

I don't think they'd make a universal theme that is in Japanese only. I don't think you'll hear it during the Olympics on American TV, unless you get Japanese stations. :[

Jennie Mae 3rd February 2006 11:19 PM

The universal Olympic song is by Eiffel 65 this year.
Ayu's song will only be played in Japan. Maybe there will be another games in Japan one year, and maybe we can hear her too.

Delirium-Zer0 4th February 2006 09:46 AM

Ayu's song is only the theme for the Japanese broadcast on NTV.

Why "comeback"? Ayu hasn't even gone anywhere.

DA1SUK1DAY01691 5th February 2006 07:05 AM

don't forget about the "teens" cover!

Yukitora 5th February 2006 07:10 AM

If I'm unmistaken, Koda Kumi has the olympic themesong for another channel...

...where I live, there is only channel with the olympics though...

greggerz189 5th February 2006 07:26 AM

I don't think this single's going to do very well....I just have a feeling. I hope I'm wrong. I'm going to buy it and support her, regardless.

Nu-NRG 6th February 2006 10:06 AM

I think this could be like last year's STEP you/is this LOVE? single
the best selling(ayu) single of the year

tinyppl 6th February 2006 10:32 AM

I gt the feeling this single will sell alot xD

Ryoko 6th February 2006 09:28 PM

In Japan, the channels that show the Olympics get different theme songs. Ayu will be for NTV, I believe, and Kumi will be for something else.

marty518 7th February 2006 02:30 AM

I think this single will sell about the same as the others.. just definitely more than B&D. I'd say 120,000ish the first week, and top off around 300something thousand total.

Ayumi no Yume 7th February 2006 03:20 AM

I find it very unfair that Japanese artist (and other countries) get no recognition from other countries :no Especially America. It's suppose to be a mix of people. I'm sure a handful or more of them speak Japanese :rolleyes ANYWAY end rant here.

LacusClyne 7th February 2006 04:09 AM

theme song for olympics! that's great! hope this single would be a sucess!
