RIAJ only counts the units shipped, not sold. thats y they say 'evolution' was a million seller, when it wasnt. im still sticking w/oricon as they do give a number, instead of some levels. but thx for the news anyways...
edit: i read the little thing in chinese, it says that she got it from 2ch.....i've heard dont always believe in wut ppl say at 2ch (ie just like dont always trust things from wikipedia).... |

sales > oricon... it's not so stupid because oricon just takes care about japanese sales... without the worldwide sales (China... etc...) and Ayu is famous in other countries

I'm not sure if I can trust this number or not too. However, from the article it says that Oricon does not include some record stores so I would say that might change a number a little bit but I won't say huge. But as the article says that Oricon are always a little bit slower getting the number so in a few weeks (miss)understood might break one million!!

i don't think so. it's still a slight distance away from what we see on the oricorn. ayu should reach there in another 3 to 4 weeks.

I guess we should still follow Oricon numbers. After all, we've used it to gauge her sales for so many years, it would be weird if we were to judge this album with another standard.
So it's still under 200 000 copies to go! Ganbatte! |
That's the shipped copies, not sold. If RIAJ had more stores to count the sales from, then RIAJ would be the source everyone use, not Oricon x_x. So the thing they count sales in stores that are not counted in Oricon is fake, they count shipment.
