I didn´t find a Thread for SOULHEAD so I decided to make one^^
And I have a question to start....How Limited is NAKED CD+DVD?

Cool!!!!!!! Finally a SOULHEAD thread^_^ They are definetly the BEST R&B duo out right now. Hopefully this thread will become popular.

I'm not really sure how limited the album is but I'm sure it will be sold out really soon. I just downloaded the album, I know I'm late but I was going to buy the album but I decided not to. I need to put my money towards buying a new CD player. So far I really like it.

I have the limited CD + DVD version. How is it? You mean the videos or packing?

Thats what I wanted to know next...but what i meant was how many copies were made of the Limitede Version

Dang, me too~ I wish I could buy the CD [I haven't even downloaded it], I really want to hear it! But I reckon DDD is slightly better than XXX. But I love XXX too!

Anyway, I don't know how limited the disc is. I think it's still available.

I have to say, their latest album "Naked" is beyond good, it's so great! I can leave it on without skipping any tracks, I was really impressed with it. I am looking forward to more great songs from them in the future, and hopefully some more great collaborations!

lets compare!!! wehehe... Soulhead, Bennie K and Heartsdales for me sounds alike, if not alike, they are in the same genre.

but soulhead's like more of pop than rap/hiphop, dont you think?

am only exposed to HD before, but when i started getting SH and BK stuff, i think SH is better than HS... but my current fave is BK!... too bad they aint have an official thread.. hehehe.

i wish they have an "urban shuffle album" where, the singers (eg. jewel) and rappers (eg. rum) interchange groups or have an all rappers song and all singers song.. wehehe..

what do you think are the 3group's similiarities and differences? are there any other groups like this, "sisters" group?

R&B sister duo SOULHEAD's first single of 2007 comes only a month-and-a-half after their Christmas single "kimi no kiseki / itsu made mo". The title track "Dear Friends" will be used as the theme song to the movie "Dear Friends". The B-side, "Feel Like Jumpin'" will be a "danceable, grooving tune".

comments!! am surprised that DF has no rap in it... the rapping resumed on the 2nd track... both tracks for me are mellow. i like it :)

Yeah I like "Feel like jumpin'" alot more than DF. DF sounds too much like their Christmas singles.

Tracks #14 and #15 are the christmas songs. The only thing different on the single is that you get the instruments.

They're best album was just certified as Gold by the RIAJ. I like the music they've been putting out lately, i hope they release a new single soon.

Really? I think the complete opposite. I love the singles before Naked album, but not so much after.

^ oh.. cuz i like ballads.. the melodies are great.. but i love them more than Heartsdales but not as much as BENNIE K's. hehehe..

i just became a fan when i heard DDD.. so i wasnt exposed to their earlier release.. but i have all of their stuff, minus some b-side (which is rare). hehehe.

i love the NAKED album + the remix album. greatness! the BEST of is the cherry on top... too bad HD left at a bad impression..

I love all their stuff. Braided is still my fav album though as I might as well post the pics in here.

Also I find this odd. Tsugumi seems to be the more girly one in the group yet she's the rapper??

It has been confirmed Tsugumi will be a featering artist on the new album of reggea artist lecca. Both girls have been best friends for a while.

This is the first time for Tsugumi do a featering song without her sister. (The song with Ken Hirai was a remix).

Both girls are excited, they've written the lyrics together and have the composing together. This is Tsugumi's first experience with reggea ridim.

lecca says that from all the persons she can/want to work with, Tsugumi is her number one and she's happy it is finally realising. She says Tsugumi is Japans nr. 1. It was one of lecca's dreams to do a featering with Tsugumi and she's happy that it is finally happening.

The song is mixed by D.O.I. lecca wants that everybody hears the song soon!

Tsugumi will be singing on the track. lecca says they made 2 tunes.

lecca's album will be released on 18 July 2007.

Soulhead fan here! They haven't done much in terms of releases since January...they are WELL overdue for a new single!

yeah. the album came out of nowhere. no singles were even used to promote it... right? hehehe.

Yeah... I haven't seen any promotion the new album at all yet. I worry about how well it will do. :(
