Sorry, I don't have the link to the source or anything but there was an interesting poll in Japan (this was on TV) given to young children asking them who they would like to be their mother. Ayu got the most votes. Isn't that interesting? I thought it was funny :D

She could be an excellent or an awful mother.

-Either she'd be unable to reduce her career commitments appropriately
-Or she'd be completely devoted to kids and give up her career.

Either way a bad result, so let's hope she postpones becoming a mother for another decade or two.

I see the truth in this.
A lot of Japanese women are having troubles choosing motherhood or career. And a lot of modern women nowdays are choosing careers. Japan still looks down on its women for wanting to work while having to take care of a child on the side.

In result, not a lot of women are having children, or having children when they are almost 40 years old. It's not good, considering that the child birth rate has decreased dramatically in Japan.

I asked my cousin and he said that he wants Ayu to be his big sister instead. :laugh He's 5 years old.
