Didn't do the photoshoot for ayumi for the album (miss)understood? I believe that leslie have been the photographer for ayumi(i.e. album RAINBOW, A Ballads, Memorial Address, and MY STORY). I think that ayumi looks good when being photograph by him... :yes

But... to my amazement, Leslie become the photographer for Koda Kumi. I only realised this when i looked at the booklet of Koda Kumi ~best second session~. It mentioned the photographer as Leslie Kee (super sonic). I wonder what's happening...:rolleyes

maybe ayu just want something different from what she has been done so far for the album...

It's only one album of delay ~_~

The next one will probably be done with Leslie Kee. :3

Well, we also need to remember Ayu went on 'vacation' basically for some of her releases. fairyland and B&D, and it seems that when she goes on vacation, a release seems to follow x.x

(miss)understood was probably an album that someone had decided to not have the traditional '...omg hot glamour HQ photos in many poses with a theme' or maybe Ayu's friend who did the photography for the booklet asked her beforehand and Ayu said she could.. :\

This Leslie Kee is a Singaporean. I think Singaporean should be proud and happy. Hehehe...

By the way, i think Miss Understood album photoshoot is really crap! Just look at the quality on the cover! So many noise on it. I love the other cover more though...

I think it was due to the lack of time and origininality that the covers suck. Ayu went to hawaii and new-york and overused those images in 3 photobooks and 4 covers... They should've schedule a new photoshoot for the album.. if Leslie Kee has the chance do make something amazing he can do it.. Because the albums he shot were absolutely amazing and he is considered one of the best celeb-photographers in the world.

yeah he should have been the photographer for Ayu, maybe Ayu just wanted someone else for a change or maybe Leslie was just really busy photographing other singers like Koda

A portion of the (miss) understood pictures were by her staff, which is why they were either blurry or not angled well.

The photographer of On My Way and Off My Day calls himself ND Chow (Angle).

I haven't checked the actual booklet, so I don't know about it.

I love the Off My Day and On My Way booklets even though they werent shot by Leslie Kee. I have no clue who shot the actual cover of the album, the DVD version is nice but the CD version is not in my taste.

(miss)understood was supposed to look amature. That is why she asked her assistant (who is NOT a photographer, btw) follow her around and take pictures. It was supposed to be a "Ayu is on vacation" type thing. In my opinion I think they should've done this for the MY STORY album since MY STORY was "Ayu's Diary"

And the book that everyone is talking about...is Leslie Kee's Celebrity book? He was doing a book of famous Asian celebrities. Ayu was asked to be in it, but she declined because of schedule problems:

I looked in my AT2k6 Pamphlet yesterday, right before going to bed, the 'normal' pictures in it was shot by ND CHOW (Angle). Has he ever done any work for Ayumi before, or has he started appearing as her photographer recently?

The shots from AT2k5 that is featured in the Phamplet is shot by Leslie Kee.

What? Not really... he's REALLY talented but he doesn't do lots of works out of Asia, I guess... oh well, it's a shame, but I don't think we know lots of celeb-photographers besides him (because he works with Jpop artists) to compare, really. But maybe I'm wrong and you know lots about photography, who knows, it's possible :x.

Anyway, I hope he does her next album cover...

It wasn't her assistant, it was her best friend, Mika Noguchi (Ayu call her John). Mika Noguchi isn't Ayu assistant (or mother, lol), she's the CEO of Peach John (it's like Victoria's Secret) and one of the most powerful womans in Japan. She was on the cover of Times magazine, too...
