Alterna PV Question
 

Hi,

I checked IMDB without much luck and have been wondering for ages... Is that Sid Haig (think that's the actor's name) in Alterna? He played the ummm..clown guy in House of 1000 Corpses.

After looking at some pics of him in 1000 Corpses, I'm not too sure if it is him at all now. But it does look kinda like him.

They do looks alike..

I tihnk it's just the make-up, because the nose and mouth look somewhat different to me :shrug

Ayu was probably inspired by that movie? o_o I have to agree with Yvette, the nose/mouth looks different..but it could also be because the angles are different, too. o_o

But I don't think it's him, if you compare the noses, they are very diffrent.

Heh, yeah, would help if the clowns were showed in the making of Alterna.

I really don't think it's him, judging from a screencap from it where the clown and Ayu are standing perfectly straight up, they are almost the same height. Ayu is only about 5'1? Sid Haig is around 6'2.

Well back on topic, I think they look a lot alike. The nose looks kind of the same to me? Just, one has a beard and the other doesnt?

I thought the same thing, but after watching The Devils Rejects and the alterna PV again they're really different.

I posed this question to a Sid Haig fan board a while ago - they watched the video and the consensus was that it wasn't him, but that it was definitely some kind of homage to him - because the similarities really outway any differences. The make up, the hat etc as well as the general face structure are all the same.

I was convinced that clown was him when I watched the video! But I guess the people on that fan board that Sunshineslayer asked would know what Sid Haig's been up to better than anyone else, so they are probably right when they say it's a different person...

But still, it looks SO MUCH LIKE HIM!
