Passion or Sanctuary?
 

Hehe, we all love Utada Hikaru's songs. But which one do you choose out of the following?

Sanctuary

or

Passion?

I myself I chose Sanctuary because it seems as if she put more effort into it than she did in Passion. Also, I like it because it has that little part where she says "My heart's a battleground" and passion didn't have that little beat changer in it. So yeah, open poll!!! ^^'

Hikki wrote "Sanctuary" before "Passion" and she said that it was harder to write in Japanese.

I like the lyrics much better. I do like the "My heart's a battleground" part too, but "Santuary" sounds so annoying, like if she just randomly put words into it :(
I feel that the lyrics to the english version are.. too bland =/

Passion is better by leaps and bounds. The English words in Sanctuary, in my opinion, do not flow at all. When she sings "There's a new la-A-aaaaaAAAAAAAnnd", I just want to cry because it sounds so poor.

It's the curse of the english language it seems. =P

Passion. Although I like Sanctuary too, because of the differences. Passion is better though...the ending!

Sanctuary. I like Passion but I find nothing wrong with Sanctuary and I love the way she fits the words in the song. I think it's beautiful and it makes sense. Alot more sense than Simple and Clean IMHO. That, and I'm like one of the 3 people who like it XD;

Sanctuary. i love the part in the middle with the My Heart is a Battleground part. i like both, but Sanctuary stands out more.

passion...the lyrics in sanctuary touch me more becuase i can understnd them w/o a translation that might not hit it at the right spot...but..hikki just did make them fit right w/ the rythms...that's why i like passino better

Passion, though I too love the "battleground" part in Sanctuary.

That part is actually in both songs ^^;. I'm watching an old preview video for KH2 and it's the same, just in Japanese. I'll assume the whole "My heart's a battleground" is part of the game mix and isn't on the album version. But since there is no album version of Sanctuary it still has that part ^^.

Passion is awesome,but Sanctuary yesh has that battleground part but its also in japanese version of the Opening Video of KH2.

I love both versions! however, I think I like Passion just a bit more... although i do love the "battleground" part in Sanctuary

i like them both equally. But Passion is more fun to sing. i dont speak any japanese, but i can sing in it.

I like Sanctuary better. Because for me, it's the complete opposite of most people. In Passion, it sounds like shes trying to say too much at one time, and all the words seem congested XD. To me, Sanctuary sounds a lot more dreamy and better.

The KH2 opening version of Passion did have the beat change, and she says, "Hitoshirezu...My heart's a battleground" It doesn't have the ending, it's like the ~after the battle~ version.

For those saying how they like the "My Heart's A Battle Ground" in "Sanctuary", "Passion" Original Version also has the same exact part. It's the "Single Version" that doesn't. So you can still hear that part in "Passion" as well.

Looks like I've chosen Passion at some point. Yeah, it's true. That song has better lyrics that make total sense to me unlike Sanctuary's opposite. o.O
