How would anyone be able to meet Ayu?
 

ok for future reference im no staker or perv or anything,i was just wondering.if any of you had questions you wanted to ask her yourself how would you ever get in touch with her?now im really being very serious here.i mean really,i have some questions i wanted to ask her and the only way i thought up of was to ,send a letter and most likely never get a reply ,or join Team Ayu.i just wish i could just meet Ayu and get all the anwsers.:(

Ah...with how popular she is and how well-respected she is in Japan...I think it'd be very hard to meet her in real life.

Unless you became famous, too and got a chance to meet her because of your stardom.

Or if you were really lucky.

If you stalked her and during a live, when you were in the audience, you'd shoot a chip into her body, tracking her every movement.

I think that you'd never really get to see Ayu since she doesn't go out much.. best bet is a TV performance or a Panasonic conference.. or a concert.

meet as in really see her or talk to her? u can probably see her jus by being the audience of Music Station Live or her concerts.. if u wanna talk to her? i think its quite impossible though.

I think its really hard to meet her unless u are famous...well..i think its all about fate...

I can understand many stars probably don't like fans following them around (who does?) After work, the stars just want to have a normal life like anyone else in the world.

I would probably just relay on my own luck to meet her someday out of pure randomness. Like if she was in the U.S. for some reason...but I don't really have that much good luck.

Well maybe you could go to a Music Station performance, when she performs are really dancy song, and she goes to the audience and touches everyones hands. I think that's the most touching you'd get out of her though.

Well, I think the only way would be to become a famous director or photographer that catches Ayu's attention. Like ND CHOW or Leslie Kee.

Did everyone forget about the Asian handshake tour?

I guess that counted too, but you would've had to been around at the time / been an uber fan of Ayu..

I don't think many people here were crazy enough fans to fly over for a handshake and stuff.. a lot of people who were there were pretty much from the area..

whow nmskalmn ive never seen those pictures before where did they come from??i have only seen the youtube Ayu goes to Hong Kong thing.oh and besides i think u would have to be really lucky to meet Ayu in real life and actually talk to her.but the Team Ayu thing isent too bad of an idea.good luck :D

IIRC, it was around the time Daybreak was released.

Apparently she went twice. :o

Once for Daybreak and to accept that award for I am.. [I think] selling so and so copies.. and another for.. uhm.. I dunno? lol

Again IIRC, the handshaking tour had two stops: Taiwan and Hong Kong. As I remember it was not tied up with any other events.

The yellow scarf was given her by a fan.

In Taiwan (IIRC) she started crying because a fan told her it was okay to marry (or something like that).

i can't imagine meeting her... :heart

but honestly for us normal fans, especially those of us overseas, i think the only chance is to happen into her at an airport or something...and then thats really only in L.A., Chicago, or NY. :shrug

In the Cantonese TVB news broadcast that covered Ayu's appearance in Hong Kong, they show her receiving an award, people taking down a music store, and the handshaking session.


She got the award for I am.. because it sold high amounts or something.

I can't remember everything clearly from that long ago, but the 'award' must have been incidental.

Unfortunately the AHS archives of that era are lost.

My advice is offer up a skill that she needs, and be the only one who can do it! When she comes to Vancouver to film her next hot video, I'll offer up my spare room and be her translator/tour guide. No one else can speak less-than-stellar Japanese AND has a spare room.
