Fave New Mainstream Release? (Female)

For October/November there seems to be some awesome new stuff coming to the charts around you! These are the songs that will probably chart all around the globe. Let's have a look:

Hilary Duff - Play With Fire
Yes leaked a long time ago but it's to be released November 6 officially. Not getting airplay in the US?

Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up
Recently leaked, single out late November. Return to prominence. L.A.M.B all over again, hear Gwen's singles from Sweet Escape for another 983729387923874 times throughout 2006/2007/2008.

Nelly Furtado - All Good Things
The 3rd single if you live in Europe, and the 5th (6th?) single overall from Loose. Definitely a Top 20 in the UK if not the Top 10.

Sugababes - Easy
Another return to prominence for successful UK girl group Sugababes. The third single released to have new member Amelle sing in.

Paris Hilton - Nothing In This World
The third (second?) single from Paris, officially released in the UK on the 6th of November.

Jessica Simpson - I Belong To Me
The second single from A Public Affair, popular on many music video programs such as TRL.

Amerie - Take Control
Amerie's comeback single after her previous album semi-flopped. Once again, Rich Harrison (1 Thing, every other song of hers) produced it.

Cassie - Long Way To Go
Ms. Robot's second single from her debut album. Already released in September (US) but is hardly causing a ripple in the charts. Did well in the UK though.

Fergie - Fergalicious
Second single from her debut solo album which is unexpectedly very successful despite being about her body, her own self, and her name. Vain.

Beyonce - Irreplaceable
Third US single, second UK single, first amazing single.

Other
Pick yer own one as long as it's going to be popular and mainstream.

THe new fergie song is awful. Arrangements sound so extremely cheap and ARE actually something you could make on e-jay in 5 minutes like 4 years ago and even before. The PV is the most interesting feature of this song. The song is awful

I haven't heard all of them, but Play With Fire is definitely my favorite :D

Those are extremely commercial and not so good songs, so none for me

..:Hot:Like:Wow:.. 4th November 2006 05:58 AM

Gwen Stefani or Hilary Duff (Duff cause she reminds me of my fav singer with her latest song)

Nothing in this world. I haven't heard others. I'm afraid I'd just wasting my time.

alt.total-loser 4th November 2006 07:27 AM

Hilary Duff - Play With Fire, even though I don't care for Duff too much.

I enjoy both "Nothing In This World" and "Irreplaceable" a lot... but my vote went to Beyonce.

Halla 4th November 2006 09:23 AM

I voted for Paris , nothing else really stands out to me out of those songs. the music video for it is pretty good too :P

spookshow 4th November 2006 09:33 AM

my favs are the new hilary duff song, the sugababes and nelly furtado's new songs -- they're all great tunes!

I don't know exactly how recently the single was released, but the song is in very heavy rotation now on the radio: JoJo Too Little Too Late.

Fergalicious makes me laugh though. "I be up in the gym just-a workin' on my fitness..." XD

DAMN! I could have sworn it was on the list! x__x I love that too! I never thought I'd like it, but it's terribly catchy.

She has grown up the little JoJo. But a catchy sound is also Nothing in This World by Paris. Since she brought out her album I'm a huge Paris Fan. She reminds me a lot of the old Madonna.

Miku 5th November 2006 01:36 PM
