of course ;o

Terri 25th November 2006 03:51 AM

They really didn't have much choice :D

IYFreak 25th November 2006 03:51 AM

what was last years score for (miss)understood?

Mad_Cactuar 25th November 2006 03:59 AM

Pretty close with the second place. o.O Scares me.

truehappiness 25th November 2006 04:00 AM

(m)u got 280.9.

Pretty high, but that WAS last year.

Here's the sales of Sukima Switch's last album..
Sukima Switch Kuso Clip 146,180

LAUGHABLE compared to Ayu's first weeks.

DA1SUK1DAY01691 25th November 2006 04:12 AM

WEll, like it matters cause buyers usually prove them wrong anyways; sales are usually higher in ratio than the ratings in this poll.

Anyways, haha, retard question. What do these numbers represent?

:roflmao

These numbers are taken from a survey done to an amount of potential buyers or something like that. They don't reflect sales, maybe only Oricon chart positions.

Go here for an INDEPTH explanation.

Axel_Grease 25th November 2006 04:33 AM

Bookoff? in ala moana

Raleigh 25th November 2006 06:43 AM

Not surprised either. Not getting #1 would be terrible XD

Qt Mashi 25th November 2006 08:26 AM

hopefully the sales will be MUCH higher than the predictions :yes

Yes, that's the bargain place compared to Hakubundo. Amazingly, most of the places I know that sell CDs are all kinda bunched up.

-Book-off in Ala Moana (Shirokiya first floor; also a great place to find Panasonic digi cameras- they have the FX01 or FX07 already)
-Hakubundo (Pan-Am Building, walking distance from Ala Moana) ~ The reason why i love this store is mainly because they have all their stuff on the day of actual release (CDs, sometimes DVDs, calendars), but the setback is that it's usually 10-20% higher than Japan retail price. (BLUE BIRD cost about 25 dollars, ARENA TOUR 2006 was 80 dollars, I'm anticipating Secret to be around 50 dollars)
-Don Quijote [They had (miss)understood with the pb when I went last sunday, also some other artists, but not a terribly good selection)
-Nippon Video (Unsure of their selection, as I've yet to go there; walking distance from Don Quijote)

So basically, you can just park in Ala Moana and head in the same direction, and hit all those places in the order I just told you. :) (I'll get directions and send them to you before you go :) )

As for the ratings, at least it's more than half. :shrug and maybe the same 219 know ayu's stuff. Hopefully this reflects more of the sales aspect than it does of the know aspect. or an average. that'd be good too.

alternarist 25th November 2006 09:06 AM

weehee!! Secret is definitely a MUST buy album after listening to the previews!! hope the predictions are right. :)

immel 25th November 2006 02:19 PM

There's so many unexpected news coming up before every release she makes :).

Thanks asongforXX.

extepan 25th November 2006 02:23 PM

To say the least. I wonder how much it'll actually sell.

Considering the quality of the songs, a million wouldn't be hard. Considering how the market looks today, it's impossible, heh.

kaue_ 25th November 2006 02:55 PM

lol, so unexpected! ^_^''

thanks for the info!

Should make it onto the top list of the most unexpected Ayumi news :).

*Petit* 25th November 2006 06:15 PM

aren't these awfully low? Considering f.e.x fairyland's from last year? I know they're not accurate at all, but .. >_<

jeffycue 26th November 2006 12:26 AM

duh... even a deaf guy would predict Secret to be No.1... hehehehe.

yey for ayu!

truehappiness 26th November 2006 12:29 AM

They take 400 people and survey them and they say what they'll buy in the coming week, so it's not exactly telling.

When Ayu gets high rankings it might be Ayu fans that they poll..

Remember, those numbers are NOT sales predictions, they don't have anything to do with the numbers of CDs that it will sell.

truehappiness 26th November 2006 01:43 AM

Can we sticky a thread that says:

"NINKI NUMBERS ARE NOT SALES PREDICTIONS~" D:

Yes, I know, and I know the don't matter at all really, but I remember her expectations number to be a lot higher before. THat was my point, nothing else.

Yeah, but as I understand it the NINKI numbers isn't even remotely connected to anything that has to do with sales. So if the number would be higher that wouldn't mean the sales is expected to be higher.

elepop 26th November 2006 04:04 AM

I'd be quite surprise if "Secret" sale a million copies! It would be amazing. I'm pretty sure it will beat "(m)u". Though, the "Secret" single tracks aren't great. The "(m)u" single tracks were amazing! But it's the opposite for the album tracks. (Even though I haven't heard the previews, I'm pretty sure it's better hehe.) Plus, "Secret" has more album tracks! Hopefully, it will sale better! :yes

IYFreak 26th November 2006 04:12 AM

if Secret came out in like 2004 Im sure it would sell over a 1 million I wish this was the old days dang these internet downloads.but if Secret sells 1 mil then I think December and into 2007 will be a good year for albums.

not surprising ;) everything ayu releases goes to no. 1 :yes

nodoka 27th November 2006 09:55 PM

Ayu is definitely predictable with this!
