truehappiness 31st December 2006 09:05 PM

YAY~

So she's going to three parts of Asia..?

3/24 -> Taipei
4/7 -> Hong Kong
4/22 -> Shanghai~ :B :B

Azmaria 31st December 2006 09:10 PM

cool can't wait for A BEST 2 to be released, nice that it is now in her site

chocopockymaster 31st December 2006 09:11 PM

Not really much of an Asia tour...I was expecting a lot more performance locations. Taiwan? Singapore?

truehappiness 31st December 2006 09:15 PM

I wonder if she tried, but wasn't able to go to certain places..

ayu1m 31st December 2006 09:28 PM

Wohoooo!

She'll have 2 concerts in Tokyo while I'm there ^____^

Thank you Ayu!

~Matt~ 31st December 2006 09:37 PM

Well it doesn't seem to be an "ASIA TOUR" really... only 3 overseas performances and most of the concerts are in Japan as always ._.

Calico 31st December 2006 09:38 PM

Oh man, there's gonna be some Singapore members here sad when they see this. ;_;

Oh well, at least it's confirmed. Thanks for this.

Sim' 31st December 2006 10:00 PM

Lol xD
Original ASIA TOUR =p

norain 31st December 2006 10:07 PM

So much for an asian tour...I think the reason that she couldn't have too much of an asian tour is because she isn't THAT popular yet outside of Japan. So it makes sense...when she gets more popular the asia tours (if it's recurrent) will be bigger. It's the first time, you wouldn't want to go all out the first time right? (or maybe you do)

ayu_fan929 31st December 2006 10:09 PM

Maybe she's going to go to other places but not necessarily perform there?
======
3/10-11: Saitama Super Arena
3/24: Taipei, Taiwan
4/7: Hong Kong, China
4/22: Shanghai, China

5/9-10: Yokohama Arena
5/22-23: Nagoya Rainbow Hall
5/30-31: Osaka Jo Hall
6/9-10: Fukuoka Marina Messe
=====
10 concerts in Japan and 3 in Asia. This is like one of her smallest tours...

truehappiness 31st December 2006 10:12 PM

I think she's going to add more shows.. that's how it usually works, right?

ayu_fan929 31st December 2006 10:13 PM

I'm actually curious where she'll be in April. I'm still thinking she'll be going to like Korea/Singapore etc. but not hold a concert there...

~X2RADialbomber~ 31st December 2006 10:17 PM

I hope they add more performances soon >_>

ayu_fan929 31st December 2006 10:21 PM

Come to think of it, they probably are going to add more performances in Japan. That's why the Yokohama / Nagoya / Osaka dates are all weekdays... I guess they didn't put that many dates is because they want to "test" the market?

Dustie 31st December 2006 10:26 PM

Would be nice if she added some Tokyo performances in June...

not like there's any smallest chance I would be there, but...

IYFreak 31st December 2006 10:41 PM

but also Ayu has to do Promotion for the New A Best. but I still think more dates will be added

benslave4u 31st December 2006 10:50 PM

Is it just me or it seems like she is not doing a lot of shows this year? It seems like she is only doing a few shows in Japan compare to her 2006 tour!!

ayu_fan929 31st December 2006 11:14 PM

She has some "blank" dates in like May and June, so I think they will fill those dates up with the extra shows.

ayu1m 31st December 2006 11:33 PM

At the moment I just hope she doesn't change her 9/5 & 10/5 concerts T__T

Other than that, YEEE <3

ayu_ayu301 31st December 2006 11:36 PM

I know it's not much but at least she's starting to go out of Japan.

WHOO HOOOoOOO HK!!! I'm so going to be there!!!

Qt Mashi 31st December 2006 11:41 PM

this is just awesome!

Diana 31st December 2006 11:44 PM

Yay.. Probably. Cant read now lol :D Erm.. yep yep yep.. *Diana is crazy now* o_o

Dustie 31st December 2006 11:47 PM

Uu, Diana drank to much champagne :P

I suppose it's unlikely that she would change any dates, but it would be nice if she added some...

chocopockymaster 31st December 2006 11:52 PM

It's interesting that, so far, the last shows are at the Marine Messe because Yoyogi is closed...that's so sad, I think Yoyogi is great for Ayu's tours. :(

Neo Daydream 31st December 2006 11:59 PM

AHHHHHH! ^^ so exciting! ^^

star.wing 1st January 2007 12:02 AM

I wish I could go to just one of her concerts...

Eu-Kun 1st January 2007 01:17 AM

This will be her BEST year i think lol XD

Thulanks 1st January 2007 01:21 AM

Man! In moments like this I'd like to live in ASIA!

starr5245 1st January 2007 02:14 AM

haha, asia has many countries..only 3?

Eigakan 1st January 2007 02:22 AM

wasn't this supposed to be an Asian tour, but just 4 places

LacusClyne 1st January 2007 03:31 AM

well, there are still some weekened that ayu can squeeze some more asian countries in.....see the following?

3/24: Taipei, Taiwan
4/7: Hong Kong, China
4/22: Shanghai, China

i refuse to give up hope. i'm still waiting till the end of this month.

CHAS_AYU 1st January 2007 04:07 AM

Yeah!
Hong Kong 2007.04.07

I am very very happy to hear the official news!
I think there will be extra show, maybe some more Asia cities!

darkswordz 1st January 2007 04:23 AM

I think some more cities will be added (e.g. Singapore, Beijing)

Mad_Cactuar 1st January 2007 04:46 AM

That is more like an Oriental tour instead of an Asian tour. It's not even a quarter of Asia. >.> Silly old lady. That's the most dissapointing news ever, I really believed she'd be going to Thailand or Singapore or Malaysia, where I can at least see her.

Eww why is Yoyogi closed? Marine Messe doesn't look as cool as Yoyogi. I hope it looks the same on the inside, since it's all we will see for the DVD recording anyway. XDD

truehappiness 1st January 2007 04:53 AM

Yoyogi is being renovated for the removal of asbestos that was used when the building was first made.

alternarist 1st January 2007 04:59 AM

what the crap!! why not change it to ayumi hamasaki EAST ASIA TOUR A ~Tour of Secret~.

disappointed... my heart sank... i told everybody if ayu came to singapore, i will watch her concert AT ALL COST! and now there is no need for me to do so anymore.. perhaps i will earn enough money to fly myself to HK to watch it.. :(

freedreamer 1st January 2007 06:06 AM

gosh..3 countries and they call it an ASIA tour...i wonder what a WORLD tour will be..

disappointed...anyways, i hope she comes with another tour when the new and BETTER indoor stadium is done in time to come...

truehappiness 1st January 2007 06:13 AM

It probably takes a while for them to ship the stage to the different parts of Asia..

I think they considered other parts of Asia, but the interest might not have been high enough..

andre2907 1st January 2007 06:26 AM

Oh please, where she would be going besides China, Hong-Kong and Taiwan? Singapore, maybe, but it's too small. And she isn't really popular in Korea, there's barely any CD of her in stores around there...

ayu_fan929 1st January 2007 06:30 AM

^I think Singapore is larger than HK.
I actually thought that Singapore would be a stop since she's already been there before...

Maybe they won't film it at the last venue this year... Probably go with Yokohama or Osaka.

singapore is smaller than HK. i wonder why ayu doesnt wanna visit singapore. there are tonnes of fans here in singapore. we can merge 2 or 3 EXPO halls and it will be packed!! :(

Kodayumi 1st January 2007 06:57 AM

Bzz, im dreaming about ayu coming to Singapore :D

ayuflareup! 1st January 2007 06:57 AM

OMG
Ayu is going to China!
Damn it , i am in oz at that time >_<

Draggi 1st January 2007 09:38 AM

I tell you......do you think we know ALL of her Secrets...
so...where is tokyo this time? she doesn't perform there? that's unbelievable....
i think there will be some more secrets ^^

Ayumiko 1st January 2007 10:27 AM

I think she will add more dates later...there will definitely be more shows than that. :) I wasnt expecting ayu to have a asia tour in the first place so having only 3 countries outside of Japan is good enough for me. :D It would be nice if she could have more in places like singapore, korea, etc.

Surreal 1st January 2007 10:32 AM

No singapore? AW. I'LL FLY TO TAIPEI THEN.

Now that the dates are finally out I can start filling in dates for my Japan trip. Really looking forward to watching her live in concert. :)

ayu_ready? 1st January 2007 02:13 PM

Asia Tour...A BEST 2

does anybody has smth in their minds?
I have...remember RAINBOW era
eh...COOL :thumbsup

s1012h 1st January 2007 05:52 PM

At least she's touring OUTSIDE of Asia, no matter how very little places she will be performing
but she should at least add Singapore. The fans there are VERY supportive of her.

This Arena is really HUGE *-*
I think more than the Yoyogi Arena... ?

I don't get it, besides Singapore, what other places where you expecting her to do concerts? I mean, I believe the only big markets for Jpop (besides the ones she's touring) in Asia are Singapore and Korea (and she isn't popular in Korea).

Oh well, hopefully she'll add concert in Singapore 'cos seems like there's lots of fans there...

Yeah. I think about 5000 more people?

nodoka 1st January 2007 09:15 PM

i have a feeling that the one in Hong Kong is going to be a big hit.

chocopockymaster 1st January 2007 10:21 PM

Revisiting the schedule, I really hope the performances at Osaka-Jo Hall are the ones that make it on the DVD. Saitama would be great, but those are the first performances (assuming she doesn't add more Saitama shows onto the end of the tour)...and if she releases a new single around that time, she's more likely to perform it during the last shows of the tour (depending on when it's released, of course...but with A BEST 2 now official, it would probably be late spring). What would be ideal is if she added another Yokohama or Saitama performance to the tail end of the tour for her final shows, hence the performance that will be recorded for the DVD.

I know I'm thinking way way way far ahead, but it would be great if there were some sort of documentary about the Asian part of the "Asian Tour" released at some point in the future...

And since the info about the "Asia Tour" is included with the Japan dates, do you guys think it actually WILL be the same show that she's doing in Japan? I remember a lot of theories floating around about it being a totally different show with more of her classics since her fans in those areas have never seen them performed live before...

s1012h 1st January 2007 10:50 PM

Chances are she won't release a new album in 2007.
A BEST 2 is probably her only album for 2007.
I just don't think she'll pop out another single around June, and then release another single another 3 months, then shock us all by revealing that she has a new album coming out.
Too much work, I think she should just release singles until late 2008, and release a SUPER huge amazing album to celebrate her 10th anniversary... if I'm not mistaken

truehappiness 1st January 2007 11:36 PM

She might still do an original album..

I mean look at Secret. She did more than half of that album in about a month.. :o

chocopockymaster 1st January 2007 11:47 PM

^ And it was all totally awesome. :D

I think the Japanese and the OS shows will be different.

Also, she might release a single on the day of A BEST 2 just like SURREAL and Duty. I think she'll release another single by the end of her tour, this time a 3A or a 4A. And then she might release a mini-album by the new year.

s1012h 2nd January 2007 12:50 AM

i guess that could happen truehappiness
i would like another original album by the end of 2007, if it's gonna be the same quality as Secret.

evolution7931 2nd January 2007 01:54 AM

UGH.. SOME 'ASIA' TOUR THIS IS.

And if the finale isn't even in Asia.. then we won't get good footage... and it'll just be like some stupid JAPAN tour again. IM SO BORED OF JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN...

and this is like her smallest tour ever..
The last time I was this dissapointed was when I saw the cover of (miss)understood...
I should have known this idea was too good to be true..

The news page on the website it so pathetic.
"ASIA TOUR 2007!! HERE ARE THE DATES!!" then they have a big list of like 10 dates in Japan.. all neat and organised. Then you scroll down to the BOTTOM of the page to get the Asia dates. Nice.

Delirium-Zer0 2nd January 2007 02:10 AM

I don't know if anyone's seen this, but i found this advertisement at a japanese blog (http://ayulove777.blog19.fc2.com/)... it seems to be advertising some kind of vacation package for japanese fans to go see her overseas shows.

http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/6...1minxx0.th.jpg

Sim' 2nd January 2007 02:20 AM

^ LOL xDDD

Thanks for the advertisement =)

Seems like Avex had FINALLY found that they can make big money in this tour, that could just be good ^o^
Hope they'll begin an important promotion in Japan/Asia soon :33

Vash!!! 2nd January 2007 02:59 AM

Oh well, of course, I feel kind of dissapointed that Ayu isnt coming to Singapore. But we cant ask for too much. Afterall, it is perfectly understandable that Avex did not schedule her to come to Singapore. If anybody here understands what marketing is about, then Singapore is really way out of Avex's expansion plans for Ayu-sama.

Well, in my honest opinion, we cant expect Ayu to go wherever we want her to go...I mean, thats a bit rude...I am not trying to be rude to all the eager fans or what, but personally I feel that if she cant come to Singapore (for example), then I will try to make an effort to visit her concert in Japan (although I dont know how long it will take me to save that amount)...

yes, Singapore is too small. if she comes here, the ticket prices will be very high and that makes a higher risk.
but, don't forget Rain! he's tickets cost SD488(the most expensive ones) and the cheapest are SD188. so, i was kinda hoping that if he's concert is sucessful, it might tempt Avex to put a concert here. afterall, Singapore still have a strong market for j-pop.

alternarist 2nd January 2007 06:25 AM

singapore is small, but there are a lot of die hard ayu fans here!! u mean we cant fill up an entire indoor stadium? hmm..

jasjasss 2nd January 2007 06:39 AM

why do i feel li ke
she is going to have another TOUR that says A BEST 2 TOUR or something

Geminik 2nd January 2007 08:21 AM

Is this a joke? 3 countries and call it ASIA TOUR? May as well change the title or stay in Japan. Either she or Avex is misleading the global fans. Or she's only testing the market?

syntherella 2nd January 2007 08:28 AM

Thanks for the heads up! The tour sounds more Far Eastern than Asian… I was hoping she would at least visit Seoul to diversify the venues. I would of course be over the moon if she stopped by Singapore, I would sell my GCE O Level certificate if I had to, but I don't know if we have facilities large enough to accommodate her grand set-ups. If I'm lucky, I might be able to skip a few lessons and jet to Hong Kong… Probably nah.

Vash!!! 2nd January 2007 10:58 AM

Well, another possible way to explain why Avex does not step into Singapore is that if Ayu is to host a concert here, the whole team would have to redesign just another kind of concert to fit the size of Singapore's performing stages (wherever that may be, but we all know all the stages in SG are small).

And of course, there is no need for Avex to step into here. The influence from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Shahghai will blow over to Singapore.

But I really feel so sad now.....

alternarist 2nd January 2007 11:18 AM

^ bro dont feel sad now!! lets all fly to HK or taiwan to watch ayu together!! that would be such a memorable experience :)

extepan 2nd January 2007 02:59 PM

thanks for the news!

and OMG the date in HONG KONG is confirmed on the official site!

evolution7931 2nd January 2007 06:01 PM

Hey, is it cheaper to fly to Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, or Japan? From North America..

ayu_fan929 2nd January 2007 06:56 PM

I would probably say maybe Shanghai or Taipei overall, if you include hotel/food costs. But HK and Tokyo are probably the easiest to get to.

NorthStar 2nd January 2007 08:08 PM

Will somebody confirm for me what dates,as of now,she will be in Tokyo? I've read a lot of conflicting dates......

ayu_fan929 2nd January 2007 09:48 PM

^The closest to Tokyo itself:

3/10-11: Saitama Super Arena
5/9-10: Yokohama Arena

I think they're both ~1 hour out of Central Tokyo?

It really depends on when you purchase your tickets and when you plan to be flying. If I'm right, April is off season so flying to HK roundtrip should be around $1000 or maybe less than that. I fly to HK every summer and I purchase my tickets MONTHS in advance so it's cheaper. Hope that helps! ^-^

I'm really surprised too by the fact that it's not really an ASIA Tour... Heck, it's just China and Taiwan. Even though I won't be in Asia around that time, I was hoping to at least SEE Ayu in more countries. >___< Oh well!~

I am really sad Ayu never include Singapore, even rain include Singapore. I hope Singapore will be add in the Asia tour soon but i know the percentage is very low.

If Ayu not coming to Singapore then i will go to HK... Does you all know how to buy tickets?

Amuro_Ray 3rd January 2007 06:15 AM

Although current official announcement is just HK, Taiwan & Shanghai, maybe Avex will announce more places later?
Even though it is just 3 countries, it is much better than holding in Japan only, right?

Joeyoh 3rd January 2007 06:59 AM

I am REALLY hoping she is adding some shows for April in Japan ;_; hopefully Chiba!

tinyppl 3rd January 2007 04:05 PM

Yep it's quite sad that Singapore isn't included. I didn't have too high hopes either since Singapore's market is really small. It's not very often that I find hardcore jpop listeners around either. Ahhh but honestly, I still wished she would include Singapore. Sigh sigh.

loveloveayuayu 3rd January 2007 04:51 PM

does any hk fans know where to get tickets!?!? please help!!><~

1AeGiS1 9th January 2007 12:23 PM

in sg newpaper today.. sg highly likely not part of the asian tour.. apparently 3 concert organisers like Unusual Productions, Hype Records and VizPro are not planning to bring ayu in..

it was deemed that her show is too expensive to bring in and a insider whu declined to be named cited a lack of sponsors, adding that Ayu's largely TEENAGE fan base would not pay exorbitant sums like $888 (a benchmark set by Rain) jus to see her perform..

haiz.. sad.. what to do.. but den the last paragraph wrote that "if you're a real Ayumi fan and must see her live, it would be cheaper to fly to Hong Kong, Taiwan or Shanghai, where you can catch her concert and enjoy a short vacation at the same time"

den again.. anyone knows how to get the tix? be it the shows in pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ or in taiwan.. ??

ayuflareup! 9th January 2007 01:08 PM

Some fans said that the price for the ticket in HK will be at lowest $3XX, highest, $2XXX. I wonder if this is true. Because RAIN's concert costs more than that as well, so I think Ayu's ticket will be quite pricy in HK as well

haiz.. sad.. what to do.. but den the last paragraph wrote that "if you're a real Ayumi fan and must see her live, it would be cheaper to fly to Hong Kong, Taiwan or Shanghai, where you can catch her concert and enjoy a short vacation at the same time"

den again.. anyone knows how to get the tix? be it the shows in pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ or in taiwan.. ??

Put it in simple words: The quality of Ayu's concert must not be compromised.

By hosting a concert in SG, the quality will go down....

Too bad our National Stadium is CLOSED.

If not, they can host it there!!! WOW!! That wld be like Stadium Tour 2002!!!

Let's face it, the reason why Ayu is doing an Asia tour in the first place is because China is the "in" market right now and everybody wants to have it as one of their markets. Taiwan was inclueded because she is very popular in there and it's a important market for Jpop and most importantly, AVEX has a branch in Taiwan.

They won't hold a concert in SG because it's a small market, there's no AVEX in Singapore and her concert is too big and expensive. They won't hold a concert in Malaysia or Thailand for the same reasons (and they're probably even smaller markets to jpop than SG). No concerts in Korea because she is not popular in there.

I tought it was kind of obvious from the beginning an Asia tour was going to be China, Hong-Kong and Taiwan ONLY.
