Tila Tequila (Tila Nguyen), of Vietnamese descent. She's worked hard to get to the status she is at. She has many many haters also, because everyone is to their own opinion. Tila Tequila could very well be the first asian to break the market (though she looks NOTHING like an asian, good thing she's 3/4th leaving possibilities of a full asian like Utada to break the market). =) [P.S. When I say Asian, I am referring to those of East Asian, not Indian, not Russian, not what technicality it is].

Tila Tequila is set to put off her FIRST SINGLE called "I LOVE YOU" it's quite interesting. She writes all the lyrics to her own songs...she sexes her own videos up herself. She writes some weird lyrics...and her vocals could use some work. But, she's someone who succeeded in trying. Woohoo.

The possibility of Tila making the market?

The one difference Tila has over everyone else?
She's Queen of Myspace. With over 56,790,355 views. It's hard to say she isn't known in the Myspace Community as somebody. Well, that's if you look at her.

The one thing she does that makes me hate her?
My guess, looking the way she does, and keeping people updated about her life. She posts blogs frequently.

I know I didn't like Tila before because of the way she dressed, but I did add her on myspace, and I have to say that she's really cool and her songs are quite catchy.

Tila just released a new snippet of one of her new songs, PARALYZED. Interesting...She also states that not only does she writes all her lyrics she writes the melodies and co-writes the songs. This girl is one heck of a deal.

First of all, I hate the stage name. I prefer her real name.

Next, I visited the myspace. I didn't think too much of "I Love You", but "Paralyzed" was okay.

I think Kaila Yu is a better singer. :D I'm serious.

I have mixed feelings about her. She can't really sing...but then her lyrics are pretty down to earth, but then her image just screams way too much SEX but then she's pretty hot as well...yeah I think in the end she's just another celebrity out in the industry to me.

She's allergic to tequila; and that's why that's her stagename.. but now that she's famous, everyone's always offering her tequila and she's like "well thank you, but you'd kill me..."

Hmm I don't think she can sing, but I think she has potential ish...she doesn't have that voice that you hate, you know? I dunno...squeaky.

I dunno if I should double post (hope that's not an offense in this situation) but, Tila Tequila self-released her single on iTunes making #91 Debut on the Top 100 charts. Along with charting at #2 with her music video.

She doesn't have a debut coming out actually, I believe she stated in her blog (which I read.......x_x) that if the single does well she will release it. However, trusty wikipedia *cough* says that she will release a CD including all favorite tracks with a bonus DVD.

Definitely, this is NOT her genre. Tila's genre is pop and rock. if anyone heard Mary Jane, I thought that was a real good song.

I never knew she was coming out with an album. All I ever knew about was the Sex EP, which I never ended up actually buying. I think if she did release an album, it would have selling potential considering her success with A Shot At Love. Everyone loves that show, including myself :D

The song was taken down later that same day, although Tila did announce [34] that she would be releasing her first full-length debut album in the winter. She also stated that because of the fan response, the new song "Hideaway" would appear on the album.

I read about her album name, kinda stupid, light hearted but she could just be messing around. Im quite excited for the book and album, Hideaway was a great song to tease it with.

I've known about her through her clothing line that she had... has, and that's how I found out about Tila. Then she started getting magazine covers and then her reality shows and became a big household name for her sex appeal. She may not have the best voice, but I think she has enough talent to make it in the business, just I think she relies too much on her sex appeal and having everything sexually charged to make her name. Of course, she started out that way so she would continue, but I think now she doesn't really have to, but that's just me. People know her now, its about time to know her for her talent. :) 'Paralyze' is by far to me her most mainstream work and shows that she has what it takes to make good pop music. 'Hideaway' sounds good too, I hadn't heard it till I saw it, so thanks for having that linked :D

As for her album title, I really hope its not legit. Though if it is its controversial, it'll bring attention to her either good or bad which really helps artists become big(ger) in the states now it seems. It tasteless though. She can do MUCH better in my opinion.

Personally, I don't find anything wrong with her, but people find ways to. Of course, everyone can not be liked, everyone has a virtue in their mind as to how they see and judge people. So I won't argue.

Tequila, 27, signed a citizen’s arrest warrant, charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment, San Diego County Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman said.

Deputies responded about 3:45 a.m. to Merriman’s house in Poway, north of San Diego, after a woman called to say she was choked by the player and physically restrained when she had tried to leave, according to a Sheriff’s Department statement.

Merriman, 25, was taken into custody. Authorities declined to say whether he had posted bail or been released, pending an afternoon news conference.

Tequila was taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately available
