Her old stuff was very COOL but I can't understand why she can't nail ANYTHING ever since she decided to release the horrid Dream x Dream :shrug

I love Rina! I'm looking forward to her new single with Uka Saegusa. :D

She's self-producing now and prefers more rock tunes. But I agree, her old stuff was much better. She went downhill after the great Power of Words album...

But that's not to say I still don't love her <3 (I really enjoyed her Playgirl album which, like, everyone hates ahaha) I'm glad she's getting her own thread! I wish I could understand Japanese so I could update more about her.

I used to lovelovelove her, but I lost interest when her music started sucking.

Her recent collab single peaked at #6 on the Oricon Weekly charts (YAY!) which isn't too bad. So far, it's sold about 26,574 copies.

I love Rina. I was so happy when Delight returned more to her old sound. I liked PLAYGIRL, but you know how it is...even if you like it, it's still not really that ARTIST if it's not the familiar style. AIR is my favorite album. I LOVE "Over Shine" and "It's crazy for you"

Mint's good, but not her best, in my opinion...

Yeah I thought her new single was really...lacking. Esp. after BGSBGC. Oh well, hopefully her next one is better.

I really liked Mint. It's not as good as her past works but it's not the worst. yellow carpet is better imo.

mint is an okay single... does anyone know if "I will survive" was on any of her albums/singles? I looked on her main website and all I can find is that she sung it in the RINA AIUCHI LIVE TOUR 2002 "POWER OF WORDS" but the version I have doesn't sound like a LIVE rip... anyone know this?

she sang "I will survive" in some GIZA artists compilation album I can't really remember the name now...or at least I think so...

"Nemurenu Yoru ni" is really sweet! It has a nice Christmas-y feeling. But the PV's confusing, she's just singing there, all sad then there's a scene with this guy running with a bag and he get's knocked down by a car, and a box falls on the floor, tehn we go back to Rina's room and she starts crying? Maybe whatever was in that box was her Christmas present or something? :shrug

I prefer the nemurenu yoru ni covers but I LOVE both sets! I can't wait to see how this single does...4 versions are definitely a lot!

I remember having that song. It was just so funny because her Engrish was so bad. Ahahaha.

Man, in my opinion, her singles have been mediocre to less than mediocre lately. The only recent singles I liked were Bara ga Saku, Bara ga Chiru and Glorious...

"PARTY TIME PARTY UP" is disappointing. :[

Wow, both of those songs sucked. I have lost hope in Aiuchi Rina ever making good fun dance-y songs like those in her first album and A.I.R. So dissapointed. I don't think I'll bother listening to her songs anymore.

I really liked PARTY TIME PARTY UP, definitely a fun song! And I also liked Nemurenu yo ni, it's a really sweet song. =] Too bad no one else seems to like it, but it definitely pleased me! I hope it sells well for Rina.

Woah. The single has been at #5 for two days now. I think I'm gonna download it now!

Nemurenu Yoru ni sounds boring sometimes but I love PARTY TIME PARTY UP. It's awesome. And the remix of NYN sounds better than the original version, btw.

Mini Rina update!

PARTY TIME PARTY UP/眠れぬ夜に sold 4,119 in the last Oricon ranking, bringing the total number of copies sold for the single to 17,395. Hopefully she can keep going up! =]

Apparently Rina hosted a 3hr radio program with the theme of bringing songs by female artists to the listeners, it was for Valentine's.

I doubt it's her "real" voice. She probably just talks that way on camera as part of some image.

Nah, I bet it is. She doesn't really have an image since she's not that popular or influential as some of the other big name stars. Besides her high-pitched voice is something that was remarked upon when she first started.

I honestly thought she'd release a new album after the last single, cuz it did well on the charts and sold decently. Infinity is totally awesome! Back when made those fun dance-pop tracks >.>... I haven't listened to her new single, and I'm not really interested in doing so, but so far, the only track I like in her album list is Bara ga Saku, Bara ga Chiru.

I think ROCK STEADY is from her fourth album PLAYGIRL if I remember correctly. Besides, it's a popular song title. Even No Doubt had a hit album with that title.

I reaaaally love the album covers. Usually GIZA bombs on covers, but Rina's are usally nice. Her last single though is...kinda boring.

Harmony was soo good. I liked a lot of the songs on the album...it's too bad it didn't do that well. o_O
