Where's Yochan?
It took me awhile to realize that he was missing, I was too pre-occupied wondering why there was this hk, hot looking shaven-red haired dude playing in ayu's band for the latest fated perf at MF xD
so where's yochan? I don't think he's ever missed an ayu performance from memory.... :shrug Though I don't mind this new guy at all :P |
boo, I do miss yocchan. <3 yocchan is teh best.
Tho around 2001-2002 Yocchan missed some live performances too, yet in concerts I think he's always been there. I love him!! ^_^ |
He also missed some pre 2000 too. He has been there from the start. Wasn't he in Ayu's first ever poker face performance too :yes

yes he was! In an old ep of utaban (when she sang Trauma or monochrome, dun remember) they pointed out yocchan was in each and every live. With blinking arrows and everything XD

It was just one... just ONE performance. My god. Absent from one performance and everyone is going crazy, "Where's Yo-Chan, where's Yo-Chan"?! God. He might be sick, or had something to to attend to.
I would've understood this thread if there had been about three or four performances IN A ROW where he hadn't appeared, but this was just one. |

I seriously do hope Yo-chan hasn't left the Ayu-band because he's just too special to me and many other Ayu-fans (IMO) to be gone forever. Hopefully it's just something minor like a scheduled off-day or something, because if Yo-chan really is out of the band then the third-chapter of Ayu's career really is going to be much more different than we could've ever imagined.

He was only in one Bold & Delicious performance last year. Ayu even commented on that during the CDL saying how Yoshio was traveling with some other group for his own career. It isn't anything to be worried about.

Perhaps he's just sick.
But yes, I think for fans like us, it's kind of a routine thing to see the Enrique-Princess-Ayu-Peco-Yo-chan line up. Feels weird to not see him around. He's really great! |

You guys do know that the band isn't actually live right? They're just acting like they play on those TV performances... some of them atleast.

I think Yo-chan is just fine xD Isn't he married? I'm pretty sure I saw a wedding ring! Maybe he needs to spend time with wifey :yes xDD Whatever, I don't think Yo-chan would bail on everyone.

or other project... he's not only working for ayu/avex but other bands too.. especially his own.. Enrique also..the other too...even the backup singers.. |

Peco's alright. I don't think she tries to steal the spotlight, I just don't understand why everyone loves her so much ("P3CO!!!~!!!11!").
Anyway, I think I have to agree: There's nothing really worth worrying over about Yo-chan. I'm sure if something was wrong or serious, we would've heard news about it (from Ayu possibly). If she announces new dancers, she would most likely say something about the band, no? Quote:

it's good to know that he'll be back :) i gotta admit, i was worried for a sec when i saw strange pinky hair guy...no Yocchan is like...i dunno, he's such a big part of not only Ayu's band and career, but her personal life, that if he were to leave, things would NEVER EVER be the same...

Don't worry about yochan...he's been rehearsing for a-nation (according to his blog) so he will definitely be around to perform with ayu.

THE GOOD-BYE is a band he was in, apparently they're still active. They had like 70s/80s style music. I bought a best of album in 2005. It's lovely. I hope I can ever find video footage online *-*

I have mixed feelings towards Peco and Princess. On one level they bring an image which is not fitting for Ayu. Ayu should be promoting a young and fresh image and to be honest they look like dinosaurs in the J-Pop industry. Their vocals are also too deep and not so feminine.
However they also bring out a lively and crazy atmosphere, which is fun to watch. |
