[Rumour] Namie Amuro's new song will be the theme of some Nintendo game
 

According to japanese gossip sites, Namie's new song will be the theme of some Nintendo game of their portable videogame, DS. There's no confirmation about this information one. There's no confirmation if this new song will be released in a new single or something like.

That's exactly what I believe. Namie's music isn't flexible. There's not many songs by Namie I can think being used in an anime or some childish Nintendo game. I don't think it's true at all.

Childish? A song from aiko's new single is used as a theme for a DS game (maybe some other console, I don't know exactly) and I wouldn't call her childish. Granted, I haven't heard the song yet, but that's a pretty generalizing opinion.

I didn't say anything about Aiko...Like I said before, Namie's music isn't quite flexible as say Utada's or Ayumi's. I could never see Funky Town being used as a anime theme song. And also Namie has say in what and how her music is commercialized. Even though she plays Nintendo DS, I don't see her music being promoted by video games or the such.

And I've yet too see any links to these so called sources. JPM is not always reliable. I've sat there and watched people make up complete crap on that site.

I'm a member at JPM and I've never seen this anywhere on the forum. The original poster would have posted it in the Namie thread at JPM if it was true.
