I really like this girl so I decided to make a thread for her ^_^ She may not be the most attractive girl in the business, but what she lacks in looks she makes up for it in her voice. In all honesty, I really don't see whats wrong with her. I think she looks cute. anyways...

Stephanie debuted under the Sony Label. Her first single (kimi ga iru kagiri) was used for the anime KISS DUM. She was born to an Armenian American Father and a Japanese mother. She is fluent in both English and Japanese. She is releasing her second single "because of you" on August 28th and will contain a cover song of Michael Jackson's "Ben" and will replace "kimi ga iru kagiri" as the ending theme to KISS DUM. so chat away^^

Yeah, don't like her style of singing. It's not nice to be bombarded with whistle notes and high notes all the time. It seems like she's just trying to show off her wide range rather than emote the lyrics she's singing.

edit: i like her second single too...her voice is clear and powerful...blows me away....but im sure she can handle other genres well, as seen from the first

^yeah her voice is really something..if you see her live performance..she really has no problem to reach 5 octave...not like misia that need to take a deep breath first to reach 5 octave.she really powerful...

she looks pretty and match with her young age...unfortunately i think she still need to build up her confident level, we really can see that sometime she lose her eyes contact with camera, and i think its bad, and she looks uncomfortable with her body language, she need to train her body, so can match with the rhythm, but overall, i love it very much!!!

This year was the best and this is fact. Awesome artists debuting like Stephanie, Satomi, alan, ASUKA... Satomi is my favorite, but Steph is my second one. Winter Gold is amazing and I love the PV (I know, WTF). It's already my favorite song of hear.

it's probbably in between being a fast song and a slow song, which could be "mid-tempo". but it also said rock, and i love rock, so let's see what this song will be like, lol.

There are persons saying that they heard/downloaded the single. It's LIE x LIE x LIE. I think it won't leak today, just tomorrow on in a few weeks. Stephanie isn't so famous and the person who always was going to rip her singles was iChris. Probably it is uploaded in the forum too, but nobody have posted in other forum.

I kind of thought the same thing too, but other than that, I think she has a very nice voice. She can control it very well. Have you seen her lives? Perfection.

Maybe she was nervous. I think she can understand Japanese pretty well since she goes to college in Japan. She's still pretty new at this so I can definitely understand her being nervous.

I did see some of her lives. They were not very good. She must have been nervous or something because she was off key, didn't hit her notes very well, and was singing with a very weak/frail vocal tone.

I wasn't really impressed with the PV or the song...but I hope it does well.
