Title to replace "talkin' 2 myself" ?
 

Since a group of people dislike/hate against the title for ayu new song, what title could replace "talkin' 2 myself", in your opinion?

The lyrics is out and the full version is out. We can think about it..

For me, I am ok with the title, unless someone says "I love talkin' 2 myself", "I hate talkin' 2 myself..." etc.. lolz

If the title can be replaced, I would choose "Justice" for this song.

I love it as it is and I think the title fits the song.
Replacing the title - ruining the idea of it I suppose the lyrics want really fit to another title (unless someone will want to title it as it would be his own song lol). xD

The title goes with the lyrics.

To be quite honest now we've read and heard it the title is perfect for it.

talkin' to myself would have just fit. get that 2 out of the title. the cds are not pressed yet. T___T

Just because that Punishment title was in the rumor doesn't mean it will ever come to be.

Punishment is a terrible title for a Japanese song, plus I don't think anyone's ever done it because it sounds so awkward to say. "Panishumento!" D:

I'd be much happier with talking to myself as well.

I'd just be happy if the '2' was replaced with 'to'. I don't mind talkin' - Ayu has done that before and other artists I like have used that ' in titles instead of 'ing'.

I agree... Ayu chooses titles that fit with her songs. We don't know what's playing in her private live and stuff. So it's hard to replace the title!

Seriously, I guess it's called 'talkin' 2 myself' as the lyrics say about how frustrated we tend to be becouse of all the hardship the world brings and how we literally start talking to ourselves in our thoughts in an attempt to expres our anger, disappointment and bitter, and to try to figure out reasons and answers.

Looking at the song that way, it's hard for me to come up with a more suitable title.

Perhaps, 'INSIDE'.
Or 'INTERNALLY'.

i'd rather just let it be "talkin' 2 myself". i've gotten used to the title by now, lol.

JUSTICE sounds sux for me since it has no connection to the lyric of the song, while "talkin' 2 myself" does

The idea behind the title is fine; the typography is just wonky. I'd rename it "Talking to Myself". A little boring, but a more mature :)

Maybe maturity is not her aim here. I think this song reflects a mental state.

I loved the title when it was announced. Now, I love it even more.

The lyrics suggest a certain sense of maturity to me. It's almost like the mature side of her is talking down to herself; asking why she's so afraid, etc. The chorus also shows quite a wise side: she knows how the world operates, and tells herself that if she's unhappy, it's because she brought it upon herself.

....doesn't seem like someone immature would understand that about the world. This song definitely does represent a mental state, but if you ask me, the one doing the forceful talking--the side of Ayu, that is--is much more conscious of the how the world works. This song is a big, "Grow up" message to me at least. :yes

although i cant listen to the song due to my comp probs, but i think talkin' 2 myself is fine although its not very ayumi-sh. but why can we only accept titles that are ayumi-sh? as fans, we should support ayu's actions and not hope that ayu changes for us.. :)

The title sound "urban-ish" which just doesn't fit Ayu at all. Maybe a title like "No Love" or "Unheard" fits the title and her better.

I like the title, I just think it should be "talking to myself" instead of "talkin' 2 myself". With the 2 in it, it seems like she's trying to hard.

I didn't understand how "talkin' 2 myself" matched the lyrics, but I think I just need to reread them. Get back to me on this.

It's just a surprising title coming from "Ayumi".

I like the title as how it is. To me, I think Ayu chose "talkin' 2 myself" as the title instead of "talking to myself" is just styling it up the title a bit to make it a little bit interesting.

Well to me it sounds more of a stream of consciousness. Trying to figure out what she wants in life and trying to find answers. That's why the writing style is informal, to me.

i was thinkin "remove 'talkin' and keep the '2 myself' part... then i thought, hey, that's too reminiscent of "1love" you know??? and "to myself" would be too reminiscent of "to be"... so i gave up... then i thought, how about "mirror" or "reflect" or "self"? aaaah my brain hurts. let's keep it the way it is shall we?

Talking to myself just looks really awkward to me. I don't know why, it just look really stiff and not fitting at all.

I agree. I like the title, but I hate that she put 2 instead of 'to'.

the 2 in the title is probably just to catch the eye, they do that all the time for songs and movies these days. like..well, it's old but 40year old virgin is a title that makes someone wanna watch it, and it really wasn't as much of that type of tone in the movie.

After watching the video for a few times,i think it should be renamed with "PEACE" instead..

i will just keep it as it is
