Must say Im disappointed the song she sang won't be a single.

i could have used one more single first, but i got really excited when i read this! just a couple of months away!!!

its become a yearly tradition for me that at the end of the year i have a new ayu album to anticipate. :yes

I swear I wanted another single.

But an album never harmed anyone. plus a photobook is always good^^

sooo i'm excited nonetheless.

But like others have said, this album could have used another single. Maybe she'll do a recut single.....

YES! I was hoping I'd get my end-of-the-year Ayu album, and here it is! BOOYAH.

Hopefully she'll go back to three singles next year. But...this just means more new material!

I guess avex didn't want to take the chance of releasing a single not getting #1? (So that means I doubt they'll do a recut single either)

But releasing an album with only two singles could risk her chances of being the artist with the most #1 albums since debut......

Not really. I mean look at BoA, her MI20 and OUTGROW singles' sales were bad yet she still managed to get the #1's. Right now, I don't think it will be a problem for Ayu unless some other big artist releases on during the New Year/post Christmas period.

Honestly, the only thing that two singles on an album could do is just make her first week sales like maybe 350k instead of 400k. :|

If that happens the sales of the single might not be so good because people will just wait for the album.

I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I really thought she wouldn't be releasing one around her usual time either, but I guess she will. A TA newsletter is official (obviously), so I'm ecstatic to hear this. I can't wait to see the cover and hear the title. There must be plenty of new songs too considering how there's only been 4 since (m)u, not counting part of Me.

As for the new recorded song, I'm pretty sure it will be like JEWEL, an album track that's promoted for the album (i.e. she sings it live and there's a PV for it).

I doubt a single, but I expect a Jewel/1LOVE type of promotion the "it was supposed to be a single" promotional songs.

I think after this she'll probably release like 5 singles to make up for the past 2 albums having only two singles. That or something, at least four. Three or four is the usual...

Anyway, this will have a lot of new content, 10 tracks at the minimum I'm guessing! I hope it's good.

well, no doubt im excited, but, im rather disapointed that there wont be another single (as of yet.) i hope this doesnt become normal for her, 2 singles, then an album. but i suppose that this year was thrown off a bit from a best 2, it took out a lot of time she could have had putting out a single, and she probably still wanted to get to her 1/1 date. i'll no doubt buy both though :D

do you think the photobook will be small, like the ones with (m)u? or big..like, a normal photobook (uraayu type)?

anyway, i'll definitely buy it :D hope there will be a bunch of PV's :P hopefully like...4 hahahaha

no, i'm not talking about her. maybe it happened with her too, but i don't know a thing about her, i don't follow her career.

i distinctly remember people complaining that ayumi released too many singles with a couple of past albums and that there was not enough new material on the album.

myself, the more singles the better. but whatever.

I think that only happened with (miss) understood in the past 3 years.

I remember a lot of people complaining about that with (m)u, just releasing so many singles beforehand caused very little new material on the new album. So yeah. It has happened.

I think Ayu's marketing really well. Granted... I may be broke by the time this is over, BUT I AM SO GETTING FIRST PRESS OF THIS ALBUM.

honestly, i'm glad she's releasing another album because at the end of a year long wait, i like to look forward to an album. not to mention she released a best 2 which threw her usual annual routine slightly off, so i'm pretty sure she's not going to continue this 2 singles a year thing. next year will probably be 3 singles. 4 is too much. And i don't want that many singles, because that means less album material. so i think 3 is just right. and since for this new album, she's released only 2 singles. we can expect a lot of new album material. I can't wait!!!

Hate to say it but I don't think this album woll be better than Secret. Secret had that certain charm and sound to it that you couldn't resist.

well considering she has part of november and december, she must have time for at least 1-2 crea creations. But then again, she'll probably be spending a lot of time promoting by doing lives, cm etc. crea creations are so rare these days. almost as rare as getting a good president in office..

Yay, exciting news! I don't mind another single not being released before the album. Just means more new songs to look forward to for the album. I wonder how it'll sound. I really liked Secret... it'll be hard to beat Secret I think. Well, at least I have Talkin' 2 Myself and Decision to look forward to on the album! (Decision BETTER be on it haha)

I think she'll get closer to 250k first week. Her single's didn't do well enough to spark that high an opening week imo.

It's just wierd that they want her to release 4 months before that and not around the actual 10 anniversary... makes me think something like she'll have another one on April ...

Even if we don't get a proper single before the album, it's almost certain that we'll get promo songs. I am... had 1; RAINBOW had 1; Memorial address had 2; MY STORY had 4; (miss)understood had 2; and Secret had 3. As much as I love proper, physical singles, I can live with promo songs.

it is confirmed on ayu's official website and since the news showed up there already, I highly doubt they will release a single before the album. (I wanted a ballad single :( )

Now that I think about m(u) which also came with a photo book...I'm scared that this album's covers will look like crap like m(u) did...o_O...please make it pretty ayu!!

I am hoping this new album will have:
-great covers
-great songs
-great booklet, photobook pics
-more non interlude tracks
-making ofs!!

I think it's ok to realese now coz there are already 4 single tracks. It's just the same as she realese 4 normal singles.
