Listen Japan has gone ahead and posted news of Utada’s next Japanese single, “HEART STATION/Stay Gold,” which will be released on February 20th, 2008. The double A-side will be the last single to be released prior to Utada’s 5th original Japanese album, to be released next spring. No further information has been released. :lech:lech

You have to give her at least some credit if not all credit. Jeez people. Ayumi comes out with so many things and that's because of her major help from her company and her team. She has the largest team in Avex after all, in comparison to the other singers in Avex.

I am surprised that Hikki debuted at no. 1 more so that she's the only artist to do so. This must be a sign that this single will do well on the charts next year. Hikki will yet again have an awesome year like this year...2 albums, cool PVs, more Hikki on tv...yipee, I'm happy for her and her success....I'm so glad she's doing awesome though because I was starting to feel that J-music was lossing it's touch without her (Ayu can olny go so far.....her and BoA....(ToT) )

I am excited more for her Japanese Album than her English CD, although I am definately in line for the album if she releases it in the U.S. (which she'd better).

Her Japanese material tends to be of higher quality than her English Stuff. Sadly everytime someone wants to break the US market they gotta do some crappy, underproduced HipHop/R&B piece of crap because for some stupid reason most young ppl only listen to that.

I want Hikki to release some English songs that sound like her Japanese music. Screw the stupid US Style and go for quality. We all know she'll never have international succes inside the US so she should just make the English cd for her true fans, cause were the only ones paying for it anywho.

More information regarding Utada’s upcoming “HEART STATION” have been revealed. According to sources:

HEART STATION is a mid tempo track with a beat; a slight retro/throwback feel.
The “station” in HEART STATION refers to radio.
Main theme is about frequencies of the heart. “Can you hear me?/I can hear you.”
Nice companion piece to “Stay Gold”
“HEART STATION” will be available for chaku-uta downloads beginning on the 21st. We can expect a 45 second clip available on Utada’s Japanese website at that time.
