Amazing! I'm without words to describe how I loved the songs. Mirror is ******* her best song probably. (don't) Leave me alone reminds me kiss o' kill so much.

Well sounds like a particularly modern album. Less fantasy/dreamy themes and a more personal album. I like how it sounds very different from any album she's ever released. However I have a feeling this album won't be popular in Japan.

The first part seems to be dealing a lot with her break up since a lot of stuff seems angry/bitter.

Marionette reminds me Desperate Housewives so much.

Haha really? That would be interesting since I love the show. I still have to arrive to that part.

i'm not gothic either haha, but i love the fact that this album is shaping up to be darker. i'm not usually a big fan of her upbeat songs.

so far what i've heard is great. mirror sounded pretty good, but i'd like to hear the rest of it to judge. (don't) leave me alone sounds absolutely amazing, its exactly the type of song i love to hear from ayumi. :yes

edit: i just got to guilty. i love the piano, and i love how sad and forlorn it sounds.

This album is just WOW! It makes me think of vampires and castles in the middle of a dark mountain xD

MY ALL and untitled are the previews that didn't really impress me, but they could end up being good when heard in full. I loved the other new tracks, especially (don't) Leave me alone. After the previews, I'm feeling very positive.

My All strangely reminds me of some of the theme songs for those ancient Chinese dramas...and not very happy for a pop song...

I thought Untitled was a nice wrap-up for the album...

From the preview, the album seemed to be kinda...nior...like something for Angel the Series or something...

That was so awesome!!! I wanna die!!! Haha MY ALL sounded different but still cool. I knew that one of the songs on there besides Glitter/Fated would be happy. Ayu's just not dark- it's not her style. I'm really feeling good about this album though. The songs gave me this desolate desert feeling...it was awesome. The covers match really well to me. The last track reminded me of 'Who...'
Thing is, there's too many preludes/interludes. Kind of makes me mad >.<

Yeah I sort of get the connection with Duty now. It has a similar sort of darkness in it.

hmm so once again the album mainstream is rock... i wish ayu will try another genre again in her next stuff. well, it sounds like a great album. i like my all & untitled, mirror is good too. i need to hear full vers of (d)lma & guilty to judge them. marionette seems a very dark song, but still good tho

Yeah! About Marionette... I think it has strong lyrics. Ayu never disappoints me. MY ALL is different than the album, I like it. It sounded like a outrolude of "glitter" to me.

this album is SOOOO... dark.. and dreamy (as in: mystical)... they're all so unique and refreshing... This album has alot of songs in the Ethereal genre (rainbow, everlasting dream)..... Even the generic popsongs are masterpieces.. too bad there are just 14 tracks

my all sounds warm and happy to me which makes you smile a bit

The most boring part was 4 interludes. I felt that was unneccessary.

(don't) Leave me alone > Sounds nice but i don't know, i think i'm a bit bored with Ayu rock songs. talkin' 2 myself and decision were nice but this one sounds like a mix of these 2 songs... Let's hope i'll like the full version better. I hope the PV is better than t2m/decision too~

GUILTY > WOOOW seriously, it sounds BRILLIANT <33333 So far, it's my favorite preview.

GUILTY: my worst fears arrived. Sound so (miss) understood-ish.. Slow rock. and you guys know how bad (m) u was. But i must say this is better than (m) u. The chorus.... is ?? what is this?

Marionette -prelude-: LOVE IT! So mysterious. Sounds pretty Halloween... haha. Imagine this prelude being used for a concert. Wonder what effects would it have?

Marionette: The verse is a little boring.. and the chorus is *faints*. I hate songs whereby the verse is quiet and then the chorus is suddenly very loud. But i like the idea of how ayu linked the prelude to the song. :)

The Judgement Day: What a cool song title, but just for a interlude?? Just like LABYRINTH. pretty good interlude though.

MY ALL: the first second i hear this song, i knew it will be the new, last song for an ENCORE, just like winding road, Replace and Beautiful Day. Average song i must say...

reBiRTH: I bet ayu missed out to capitalise the "I" in the reBiRTH. And why would ayu put an interlude prior to the last song of the album?? Arh gosh! how i wish it was a song although it sounds pretty much like Kaleidoscope and LABYRINTH...

untitled ~for her~: this song sound very sincere.. I like it a lot!! ayu should jus name the song something else and use it as the album's title track!!

i rate the album (judging by the preview) 65/100, cos i the new songs sounded pretty awkward. But will still support ayu nonetheless.. :) My main focus is now her new ASIA TOUR! :)

I agree with whoever said it that My All and Untitled~for her~ seems to be her weakest tracks. But yeah, glitter sounds really out of place, because it is just strangely cheerful. Even My All, like Replace, Beautiful Days, and all songs preceding that, does not have that perky cheerfulness...

The Glitter PV is going to be out of place too...I don't imagine a bright PV for Marionnette or (Don't) leave me alone

I need this album now! Seriously my excitement level has gone from, "It won't be here for a while, so I'm just a tiny bit excited" to "OMG I need it, I can't live without it!" The previews are too amazing!

Talk about creepy =\ Seriously - this is ayu's most darkest album yet! But I love it!

Marionette -prelude- reminds me of a video game when they're exploring some haunted town or somethin!

I'm sorry to let you know that Mirror is indeed an intro...there are in total 4 interludes...I kinda wished there weren't that many interludes, but since the other tracks are so good, it doesn't really matter...
BTW, first 4 tracks (Mirror, don't leave me alone, T2M and decision) are all rock...too much rock at once...I wished she'd spread it more...

Ayu likes to split her album into genres, so there's a chunk of this, and a chunk of that.

"Mirror" and "(don't) Leave me alone" sound AMAZING!!!!!! ^O^
"GUILTY" sounds so dark and majestic...seriously, I'm IMPRESSED. That's all I can say at this point. Lately, based on the previews, I've been a little disappointed--ever since MY STORY, the previews haven't been all that great to me, and the album is always good, but I think that GUILTY is about to be G R E A T. It has a sound that is reminiscent of "Duty" because the sound is so dark and haunting. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!

This album is about to be SUPERB. I honestly didn't expect it, either. It's a refreshing surprise. Perfect timing for her BIG 10. ^_^ Hey, Ayu!! Nice work!! Absolutely brilliant!!!

I think altogether, the album has a heavier rock feel.

The only one that I didn't really like was MY ALL, it reminded me a bit too much of BF/HONEY, just a bit annoying for me. I like the rest of them, looking forward to hearing the full versions.

Ayu-happy-songs are generally the ones that I love the most. I dunno, but something about their uplifting beats and lyrics just get to me! To be honest, it does invoke a little bit of Replace and HONEY, but definitely not Beautiful Fighters... that song... was pure... sugardeath. D: It had the squeakyvoice and a girl power PV to boot.

Mirror- nice lil opener... really sets the feel for the whole album... a lot the songs give the feeling of going crazy... which is understandable since Ayu said the album was born of her going insane from death....
(don't) Leave Me Alone- cool and yes, it does make me think of Kiss o' Kill which I ADORE! more rythmic than K o' K tho... but i can imagine her doing this live. twill be neat!

reBIRTH- didn't think it would be a instrumental but i guess it is... itz got the classic attributes of an Ayu instrumental ^^ kinda sounds like Kaleidoscope
untitled ~for her~- sounds like a nice hopeful sweet GANBATE song...

overall, I love it and i think this album will be like a milestone in Ayu's career and I can't wait to see how ppl react to it...

I think the only song I don't like on this album is untitled ~for her~ (and glitter/fated)

I'm not really a fan of Ayu's happy-happy songs, a lot of them these sound very generic to me and seem too easy to just throw out there, more fillers than anything else. Her single releases lately have had too many of them, which has made me lose interest in them and I prefer her albums because there's more of a choice :yes I do like pop songs though, I just don't like Ayu's much anymore (except the lyrics). I think that because I found MY ALL annoying, it reminded me of BF because I also find it annoying. It reminded me more of HONEY.

I don't think that they're filleresque, since they eventually serve a purpose to stick a really happy ending to a concert tour, you know? :O

I always love hearing Beautiful Day or Replace at the end of the tours.. :D

I haven't listened to all the previews, just "Marionette -prelude-", but I'm really tempted to do so... Though I decided to not spoil it at all - not even through previews. I actually wanted to beware to see the previews up, because I thought they'll come out later (19th December for the Chaku-Uta versions). Oh, well...
I have to say "Marionette -prelude-" sounds great so far. I like its atmosphere. <3

is it just me or her interludes always better than her songs? iono. she's like teasing us with a really good beat and then never makes anything of it. *tear* anyways overall i only like the fated, together when, marionette, glitter, my all and all the interludes haha. i had a feeling this album was gonna be dark ..hence the title GUILTY. she needs to have more of a balance next time.

Too many interludes. But the album sounds great! I think "glitter"and "fated" sound out of place aswell. I'm dissapointed that "The Judgement Day" is only an interlude as if we need another interlude after "Marionette" which sounds amazing! To sum it up, this album seems to be way to short!

So far, I'm really loving the Mirror and Marionette previews. Although the Marionette prelude creeped me out.

Mirror - OMG! What an intro! I really love it! And it sounds like a full song!
(don't) Leave me alone - I really love it too, especially the chorus. I find it mid-happy, mid-sad, powerful.
GUILTY - One of my favourite! Instrus are AWESOME, and the chorus is powerful! I think this song will be my favourite in full version!
Marionette -prelude- - Sooooo strange, it reminds me "Nightmare Before Christmas" ^_^
Marionette - My favourite, it's a powerful rock ballad as I like it!! Chorus is AMAZING <3
The Judgement Day - Soooo dissapointed that it's just an interlude, because I really like it!

Anyway, this is an amazing album. Love it!

I'm really impressed, actually --- I think this could definitely top MY STORY as my favorite Ayu album.

The songs that stood out to me the most when I listened to the clips were "Mirror," "(don't) leave me alone," "GUILTY," and "Marionette" (as well as its Prelude). I also think "The Judgement Day" will be an awesome interlude. "talkin' 2 myself," "fated" and "Together When..." are as good as they always were.

"MY ALL" has a lot of potential to grow on me quickly, but "untitled ~for her~" will probably take some time to fully appreciate.

The quality of these songs is really outstanding, but I really dislike the fact that there are only FIVE full-length songs. That's very disappointing.

"The Judgement Day" does sound like it COULD be a song, because the clip cuts off right as it sounds like it's about to get going. But it most likely isn't. I can only hope for the best.

Marionette -interlude- and The Judgement Day remind me of Silent Hill for some reason (maybe because marionette = mannequins...), very cool and hypnotic.

I don't know, I just find it weird that she's been cutting down her tracklists to shorter and shorter numbers, yet at the same time, she's been bumping up her number of interludes.

She started production on the album apparently after the important person of hers died [which was around beginning/mid-November..]~

So she basically pulled these tracks out in a matter of like a month.

Well when you put it that way, I guess I can understand. But still, how long does it take to add some lyrics and extend an interlude? Who died anyway? :<

Okay...so when Ayu releases m(u) with 16 tracks people complain that there's tracks with only the purpose of filling in numbers. Now Ayu's releasing an album with a lesser amount of full-length songs but from the previews sound like good quality music, yet people are now complaining there's too little tracks.

The album sounds way better than Secret. I love all the album tracks, especially don't leave me alone and marionette. 5 new tracks (6 including digital single), is perfectly fine for me. I rather have this than those bland OK album tracks like happy ending, hope or pain, liar... on My Story...

Not directing it to you, just a general observation :yes. As well for your question...I'd say it takes a pretty long time starting from a composer thinking of a melody, creating the harmony for the melody, using instruments to create the counterpoint, finding instrumentalists to actually play the music, a mixer to put the song together, Ayu having to write out lyrics which she might not have any inspiration for at the moment, and then recording her vocals which I mean if her lives don't sound really nice all the time, I wonder how long it'd take in the recording studio :P.

I guess TeamAyu members already have the album. It will be released just in 11 days.

(don't) leave me alone = impressive and unique, the main verse in addictive
GUILTY = Doesn't impress me, the album titled songs never do, except for Memorial address
marionette = scary and beautiful
MY ALL = nice, but it'll have to grow on me a bit
reBIRTH = the best instrumental track on the album, sounds kinda Final Fantasy to me
untitled ~for her~ = very beautiful, I think it'll be one of my favorites

Biggest dissappointment for me is "Together when..." I know I know, but I feel the song and PV were just thrown in there and weren't done well, untitled ~for her~ is a better ballad

There's probably a reason. Don't just dismiss it as dumb / boring / not cool / lazy..

I like m(u) that was one of my favorite albums. On the other hand most o the new songs on secret (except for not yet, and kiss'o kill) were bland.
