Instead of saying, "as it is", I think it would sound better to translate as "this kind of", like "did I imagine this kind of future?" :)

^Maybe it's "koukai" (regret)? I don't know Chinese though, but the second kanji is read "kui" in Japanese, meaning "regret".

I don't think it's about Tomoya, more likely she's again having some conversation with herself, like "two selfs" of her. Well, it might have something to do with him but there are so many other people in Ayu's life that her songs could be about anyone.

Hmmm interesting... This album seems to be very introspective.

I don't understand why it would be called "Mirror" if she was talking about Tomoya though. It sounds more like she's talking to herself, although I kind of hope not. If it is her talking to herself, it kind of sounds like she's thinking about quitting her singing career :x.

Look at the lyrics, holding on or giving up? the beginning or the end? It could make sense, but I really hope that's not what she was talking about.

About Tomoya or her career, etc. all those can work. Bottom line is, it's obvious she's asking herself about whatever it is that's making her unsure, and she has two opposite feelings about it. It's ayu, I wouldn't doubt one morning she was doing her makeup in the mirror when she thought of these lyrics, hence the title lmao.
