[romaji and translation] GUILTY
Seems it's the vaguest lyrics of this album. I'm not sure whether "distant mind" is appropriate or not.
---------------------------------------- Ikura nigete mo nigerarenai Doko made kako wa oikakete kuru Sonouchi kako wa itsuka atashi ni Oitsuita ato oikosu no kana Kimi ni iwanai koto o yurushite Kikanaide sore ijou Ima wa mada kono mama de Miesuita iiwake o sasete Hitomi no oku ni hanareta kokoro Kakushita mama de hohoemanaide Kitto mou kimi wa wakatte ru no ne * Iwanaide sore ijou Mou sukoshi ato sukoshi Yasashii uso tsuita mama ni shite Kikanaide sore ijou Ima wa mada kono mama de Iiwake sasete * (repeat) -------------------------------------- However far I escape, I can't have a clean escape How far does my past chase after me ? I wonder if my past will catch up with And pass me before long Forgive me that I don't tell this to you Please don't ask me any more Leave me this way now And let me make an obvious excuse Please don't smile Hiding your distant mind behind your eyes You already know that, don't you ? * Please don't say any more Leave me just a bit more And let me tell a sweet lie Please don't ask me any more Leave me this way now And let me make an excuse * (repeat) |
Wow, these lyrics ARE vague. o_o;
Kinda like (don't) Leave me alone thematically.. |
Interesting... thanks for the lyrics
thanks for the lyrics
love it...pure ayu!
thanks masa! distant mind seems to work ok... |
Hmmm...not vague at all. Ayu's past is mentioned again. Remember how Ayu forgave her past in RAINBOW, but it seems that she's not completely forgiven to herself and feels GUILTY. It must be something bad, that she still cannot put it behind. Not vague at all, in my opinion.
I like it a lot more than DLMA
Thanks!
beautiful lyrics ^^ thanks for translating

i never thought until there before..hehehe thanks for the translation :yes |
Fantastic!!!
thanks for the lyrics! i love this song.
thanks masa
Thanks masa! Man GUILTY's lyrics are WONDERFUL but too bad... I don't like the song.
even IF it's vague, I like the fact she made it relatable by not going into any specific situations. now everyone could relate in some way.
yeah. that is pretty vague. thanks, masa-san! ^^
Thanks :)
Thank you :D I was waiting for these lyrics!!
Lirycs are realy good ^^ 10x :)
thanks for the translations! the lyrics fits the album covers.
The majority of ayu's lyrics are pretty vague anyways.
Thanks for translating. |
Thanks For The Lyrics!!!! I Really Like Them :)
I Wonder What It Is She Feels Guilty About? |
ayu totally has it, her lyrics are my most favorite ones.
Thank you, Masa! As for the "distant mind"....maybe "withdrawn heart" would work? Since kokoro is heart, and hanareta is like pulled away / separated. ::shrug::

Thanks again masa. |
I really like the lyrics! Thanks for translating masa!
Wow those are pretty deep. But I like them. Thanx as always masa.
i love this part
I wonder if my past will catch up with And pass me before long that's really cool.. thanks |
deep vs vauge...lol..
it's not that deep
and it's not that vague just reminds me of (don't) Leave me alone haha |
thanx. its very 'GUILTY'...!

"Hanareta kokoro" is interpreted as "Watashi kara hanareta kokoro" in this case. The person in front of her is smiling to her. But in fact, he/she is rather cold and indifferent to her. I looked up "withdrawn" in a dictionary, but it doesn't seem to fit in this case. |
Thanks for the lyric
Thanks for the lyrics. I love these lyrics, but I always love Ayu's lyrics, I still haven't heard the song yet though.
hmm... like i said in that one thread "what do you hate about ayu"... i said she disregards her past and who she really is and may possibly feel guilty for not appreciating the old her and what she has selfishly done... b/c her lyrics seem to go in circles, being about the same issue... over and over again... *shrugs* but i love this song. it's like being in a daze and not being able to find the right words for the current blurry state of being.

I think Ayu's talking about how awkward it probably feels to talk to Tomoya after all is said and done. She feels guilty for not being able to communicate with him, or answer a simple question like "how are you?" because of the strain it puts on her: there's so many complicated emotions going on inside of her heart that she'd rather him not say anything, she'd rather not see his smile--in a sense she probably just wants him to... leave, I guess. But that's what brings the guilt: he was so important to her and such a big part of her life that she shouldn't want him to get away from her...
I can't believe I'm saying this but it's like Ayumi read my journals/mind and put it into a song... |
Thanks! These lyrics are pretty vague for such a well-crafted song.
thanks for the translations ^^
hmm the lyrics seems to be quite short...ayu doesnt want to face the reality.
what kind of past she was having that make her can't forgive herself n feel guilty? she steal? murder or just being evil to other ppl???
girl...u need to look forward instead of always regretting the past....i'm sick & tired of it |

Ayu is a person, and I don't personally expect her or anyone else to be Superman/woman and always look to the future with a big :D .. my opinion at least, but I'm off topic! ^^" Thanks for the lyrics... they're really good. |

LOL That`s a good one UHPlus :D Oh well.. I doubt that everything she has done is in her lyrics, it can`t match all the time.. She made some things up to fit the title?
thanks masa!!!!

i dont think so i think she keeps out specifics for relate-ability reasons though otherwise she's true to her feelings and fans |
Thank you for the trans. I really love them (as usual)! ;)
btw this is completely out of topic, but rikku411 I really LOVE your set! :D |
eh, when I saw the title of this album and the new ayu's half-deaf anounced I couldn't stop thinking eh, so she felt guilty for not telling us about her left ear?? Since she should know long before that's her ear in a bad term. She felt guilty but at the same time want ppl (the media perhap) to leave her alone. Well, it doesn't make much of sense I guess, but that's what I thought.
This song is so creepy, but somehow I still love it like mad. It's just great musically and Ayu really show's her feelings in this song. I wonder who she's talking about in this song, I bet it's Tomoya. :3 But yeah, I love this song because it's just awesome. And the lyrics are awesome too. <3
thanks for the lyrics
Thanks for the lyrics! a very interesting song :)

I have a lot of weird thoughts about this album.
am i the only one who thinks guilty is more about her leaving her boyfriend? i saw a post at A-H.net and the thread was called "What if ayu came out as a lesbian?" and i started thinking about it and... i think it would explain a lot. And I mean, a lot. But I don't think that is the case at all, so ... don't hate me! |
Hm. The title and the lyrics match too perfectly, it's almost too cliche. Still, I like these lyrics.
Thank you, masa. |
