So wat's Ayu up to lately? Not much of a news.. but no harm sharing :xmas

ここ毎日、あゆちゃんのカウントダウンライブのリハーサルの日々なのですが、毎年このクリスマス時期ももち ろん、リハーサルなのね。でも、恒例のリハ後のスタジオでのパーティもあったりするのですが、今年はサンタ さんが持って来た袋の中にあゆちゃんからのプレゼントが入ってて、バンドやダンサー、スタッフの人達に一人 一人あゆちゃんから手渡されたのは、サイン入りのニューアルバムと、それぞれの名前と From Ayu って刻まれてる「iPod Tuch」だったのらぁ～（驚喜）その瞬間にみんな疲れが吹っ飛びましたのよぉ～♪よぉ～し、年末まであと 少し!がんばるじょ～!

Rough translation: He mentioned that every year's christmas had always been spent rehearsing, and as usual after rehearsal everyone will go party together. This year Ayu gave everyone, including the band members, dancers and staffs a christmas present — Her latest album with her signature on it and an Ipod Touch that has the words 'From Ayu' engraved on it.

no really...i like her music

but i hate her as a person...i think i can see through what she's thinking when she do those stuffs...because.....i'm that sort of person too...

i'm a very generous person who will treat my friends to meals or whatever...but i want to remain them that i'm treating them want to give them a impression that i'm a very nice person...

^U think too much. From what u said it seems like ayu is giving them things so as to set an impression that she's a nice person? No offense but if u really are a nice person, you dun have to go through all the trouble to do that to impress ppl. The staffs and dancers work closely with her almost everyday, if she's really a bad person i dun think giving gifts will help change their impression.

I certainly dun see how giving things that haf 'from ayu' engraved on it actually meant she wants everyone to know she's giving out things. In the first place the staffs themselves alrdy know it's Ayu that's giving the present, no point emphasising on that further. And i guess they'd be more than happy to have it engraved on it as it seems they're not just working for ayu but somewhat her friends too.

It's just like how friends give each other gifts that has engravement on it. It's so common...

i think more warm-hearted & common practice to engrave (to *this person*) not (from *me*)..

imagine all the trouble i'm going through engrave all my friends' names on their gifts!!! and why will i put my name on the my friends' gifts that will belong to them not me?

I think when it comes to real friends, all that stuff doesn't really matter plus Enrique and Yoshia both confirmed that they all appreciated the gesture.

I give out presents I buy/make all the time and I dont really see much different between saying "to this person" and "from me"

I'd kind of laugh if someone not in any connection to Ayumi were to buy an iPod and get it engraved with "From Ayu".

The iPod Touch comes in two sizes 8GB and 16GB, so it's not huge. 8GB wouldn't fit her whole discography, if it's in 320kbps.

They got the 16GB, as shown in PECO's cellphone snapshot of the iPod.

In all honesty, if Ayu wanted to 'prove' how generous she was, she could do a lot more than just engrave her name onto some ipod things :/

Well, usually people give gifts during Christmas.. and Ayu just decided to give everyone an iPod and her album. :D

If it was just randomly out of nowhere, then you could analyze it and say "oh... yeah..." but IT WAS XMAS. D:

I giggled at the signed album, but then again that's sweet of her..
and the ipod touches.. WOW!

and omh the freaking drama over her engraving "From Ayu" she probably just wants to give them something to remember her by for Xmas, seriously husbands sometimes engrave things to their wives with "with all my love NAME"
and if I had had the time to do it, I would have put "Love Yuki" on my boyfriends mp3 player that I gave him for Xmas too. _I_ think it's Sweet, AYU probably thought it was sweet, and I'm sure those around her don't think she's a stuck up complete diva ***** who "Wants to remind people she is generous" .. seriously, you AREN'T generous if you are rubbing it in peoples faces that you ARE generous.. your SELFISH and a SHOWOFF if you have to constantly remind them.. yeesh..

and as Yo-chan and Enrique said, she normally gives gifts and they appreciate the gesture.. stop putting too much negative thought into things Ayu does people.. holy ****ing h3ll

If you look at PECO's Blog.. she said.. the IPOD Touch is engraved with "dear PECO from ayu".

I guess it is the same as "To XXXX, From XXXX" on presents/cards. ^^

Also, ayu is sincere and good enough to engraved each and everyone of the staffs, band members and dancers name onto the iPOD.

I counted number of her band members and her dancers and that adds up to 21 people, but then I added the two choerographers from TRF, and that 23 people. I'm not sure if she had any other staff people, like her managers and stuff that were added with it, anyway, I counted the band members and dancers and it came up to 23 people. Ipod touch about 34 452 yen... so 300 dolla I think... So then in total for 23 poeple is 792 390 in yen!!!! that's 6900 dolla!!! Wow Ayu so generous!!!! Hamasaki Ayumi is best!!!!! LOVE YA!!!
