The live DVD ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2007 ~Tour of Secret~ "LIVE + DOCUMENTARY" to be released on Wednesday, March 12

ayumi hamasaki's first Asian tour is now available on a long-awaited DVD!

The 120-minute live DVD captures every hit song of the show, plus encores, encompassing songs from the Secret album and staples of ayumi's live shows.
The scale of ayumi's Asian tour was completely unheard of. Running from March to June 2007, the tour mobilized a total of 180,000 people in Japan (Saitama, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka), Taipei, Hong Kong, and Shanghai and transported the 600-ton stage to perfectly recreate ayumi's Japan shows in cities around Asia. This DVD set contains exceptionally rare footage never seen in past tour DVDs that filmed only the final concert. It includes such precious moments as the wild reception of ayumi's Asian fans and songs performed at only a few stops during the tour ("Memorial address," "JEWEL," "momentum," and "flower garden").

The first DVD is probably a dual layer which can hold 2 DVDs worth of footage.

They used to do this before AT05.

I believe it will be four hours in length. Concert two hours + two hours documentary. They surely should have enough footage to be able to make it two hours at least :D

Apparently 3.5 hours long. This is according to her Japanese official site. [the English one doesn't have this info.]

i said that its cos i have a feeling that the documentary will jus be ayu rehearsing and sight seeing in HK, TW and Shanghai. You know you get what i mean? the BEST of CDL documentary were mainly just these footages.

210 mins documentary is like...3 hours and 30 mins !!!!! total 5 hours 30 mins lol

maybe thedocumentary dvd is 4:3..coz i dun think it can hold that long..imo..maybe dual layer..i hope the tour screen quality is as clear as CDL 06-07

It's also interesting that this is her cheapest tour DVD... ever. Previously, all tour DVDs have been 5800 or 6050 yen [even the single disc ones.]

This tour DVD set is 5040 yen, her cheapest and her longest in terms of DVD running time. :O

Previously every single tour DVD had be 6050 yen [with tax], even A MUSEUM and stuff... avex is probably planning on having more people purchase this set than the last two years' sets, so the price is cheaper.

^of course they can. and isn't it also so expensive because of the nice booklets? i still hope we get those....

From the start of rehearsals in early January, the footage extends from there up until the very end of the tour. [A reported (from her site duh) 150 days worth of footage]~

Finally, this is so amazing! I like how it's in a new technology [if you could say so about DL] while being cheaper. I hope the HK/Overseas version follows suit. :P I'm really excited for this DVD because I know a lot of the songs performed. :D

Tour of Asia should have been included on GUILTY. I think GUILTY could have gotten higher sales than it recieved. I guess AVEX is trying to earn more profit by selling it seperately. (u_u) It still would have been a great package deal though.

That's what I plan on doing as well - there's no point in me watching the 3.5 hour-long (or however long it said, I've forgotten now) documentary if I can't even understand it...well, except for practicing my almost-non-existent japanese skills. :P I really hope the Overseas version comes out very soon afterwards and isn't much more expensive.

And I hope someone in the threads will post when it comes out.
