Thoughts about PLAY TOUR 2007
Tell us what you thought about Namie's newest DVD "PLAY TOUR 2007", of her most recent tour of the album "PLAY".
Well, I thought it was boring and not so cool. I've been waiting with anxiety since ages and all I had was that. Namie's voice sounded crap as hell to me. The only performance I really loved was of "Luvotomy". Well, I just watched the DVD until GIRL TALK. I'll edit my post tomorrow when I can watch more since I'm busy as hell with the school. |

i watched it and wow~ she's so pretty! she sang well actually... but i didnt see her dancing pole dance... its a pity and the outfit just ordinary but looks nice... |
can't comment much cos I haven't bought the local press of the DVD yet but I have the PV for Hide & Seek .
I thought she sounded the same as on the CD but I don't know if she's lip synching or not . I don't think so but I could be wrong . |
01 Hide & Seek: That was soo cool altough i couldnīt understand the girl from the opening everything after was just perfect. Best Hide & seek Performance so far
02 Full Moon: Pretty well done...Just didnīt like first half so much....but the dancing from second half did its justice^^ 03 It's all about you: WOW! She did it perfect....didnīt expect that but one of the best performances in here! Vocals were great too...she didnīt even struggle once 04 butterfly : Actually I waited so long for this but it was a bit lame.... 05 DARLING : one of my favoruites in this Tour. It fitted perfect and the whole dancing part was supreme...especially the beginning and the ending! 06 Come Not a big Fan of Come but this made me love it again! Best part starts when it turns dark...she gets really hyped up after! 07 Luvotomy mmm they cutted out m-flo...it was a bit weird 08 Should I Love Him?: Gosh best Ballad performance from her so far...it was really great! 09 GIRL TALK: Typicall Girl Talk performance altough it was really cute^^ 10 FUNKY TOWN: Hmm not the normal performance but also nothin really outstanding.... 11 Hello: That was great...typicall performance but i love the song so it was great for me.... 12 人魚Hmmm noooo donīt like it that much live...was a bit weird 13 Baby Don't Cry: Not that a BDC Fan but the audience was hyped about this so she made a nice perfomance for it^^ 14 Step With ItPretty decend for one of my last favourites tracks from PLAY 15 Chase the Chance: No was cool but felt out of place...she should have kicked it alongside Body Feels EXIT for this time... -----namie amuro Ũ The World of GOLDEN EGGS-----&16 CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK: Now that was cute and performance was usal great too...altough I like it better in Live Style 17 WANT ME, WANT ME: she should start to use the PV Dance or should at least have keepd the girls fever one.... 18 Violet Sauce（Spicy）: Was great too...better than last time! 19 Top Secret: Yeeah one of the No.1 Tracks from PLAY...pretty well performed...liked it! -----Encore----- 23 Pink Key: Cute cute cute and vocally great 24 CAN YOU CELEBRATE?: a bit out of place but the usual great performance for this song! 25 Say the word（Breeze House Mix）+ Band & Dancers Introduction Great closeing song altough i would like to see Never End in this place again...and Hide was sooo cute^^ 9,5/10 She improved pretty much as a show star but keeped her danceing+standing+singing style...+ she smiled a lot....only a few little parts that werenīt 100% but all in all a little bit better than her last two DVDs! |

That was the choreography from Girls Fever, she just didn't dance as much as I wanted her to, and it would've looked better with a skirt...lol, but I only liked it because it was a full performance for once with her saying Touch It...I love it...grrrrowl! |
I always love Namie's concerts! This one because there were many new songs performed)

I thought she had a lot more energy in this concert compared to Live Style.

I felt there were a few really huge stand out performances, but over all I was bored.

Well.. I didn't enjoyed the concert O_O I loved some performances, but not ALL the concert... It was a bit boring for me.., and sometimes it makes me feel that she wasn't singin' so well...! My favorite performances are: COME, Luvotomy, Girl Talk, WANT ME WANT ME, Violet Sauce and Top Secret <3 |
I don't know if I said this before...but I watched the concert once from Alessia upload then three times the first day I got it, and then 4 days the second day I had it...so that's 8 times total!...honestly if her concerts are boring or not I still watch them because when she does live it literally brings tears to my eyes, especially the sad songs. IDK why but I watched SOHP soooooooo many times, at least 24 or so in one month, I think that's when I had bronchitis.

I prefer her Space of Hip-pop concert better. Probably because the songs on QoHP were designed for a "live" performance, it just sounded much better. She seemed a lot more energetic in that one as well. I quite liked the lights in the stairs for CSCEIS, I wish they used it more throughout the concert.

I really enjoyed watching it :S She did many good performances like Luvtomy, Girl Talk, Full moon and so on. The feeling was very energetic and Namie gave her best!

Play is much more better compare to SOHP!
She didnt just dance dance dance like a borin' woman, this time she tried to make new thing! And I really like it! The outfit are all Great! My favourite is the leopard one Not just orignal and not too flamboyant like almost Jpop female artist!!! That's why she the one & only! Her outfits nowadays are really familiar to Madonna's ones in her concert(watch her DVD such as "I'm Goin' Tell U a Secret" or "The Confession Tour" and see!!!) And ofcourse all the songs are Great too! I cant find anything make me feel boring durin' 1h 45' watchin' it! I watch it now to writtin' this! |
i haven't get my copy yet T_T ..it's taking hell long for it to come to singapore's music stores...
but the tons of new choreographies will be a (+ + +) compared to her previous tours! |

It's made of win, it's the sexbomb of the year. Namie danced like a pro, and her vocals and costume designs were HOT ON TOP. I have new love for Namie after watching this :D

i think the concert kinds ok...not expect much from her concert because her MV is all great and the song is the best..

Bloody hell! I waited for more then 3 weeks and it still not coming to singapore! So i ended up watching the whole thing on crunchyroll! Bastard! >_<
I must say the first 30 minutes (From Hide & Seek to Luvotomy) was the BEST namie ever come out with! Pure gold! New songs with great choreographies! Great creative concept! Great energy! Great costumes! Totally amazed! But after that, all the old songs or old choreographies started to kick in and it started to get weak IMO |
after reading your opinion guys, i really want to watch it now,
anyone have a link to download this concert? i don't want a dvd-iso, i want a dvd-rip. maybe the file size will be around 1-2 GB i want to watch it... i will buy it later, when visit singapore |
To sum it all up, it was a good tour. There weren't any huge mishaps and Namie did a good job. I can't say that it was better than the other Namie tour that I've seen, Concentration 20 LIVE in TOKYO DOME, though.
Basically, I could just listen to the first half (Hide & Seek - Ningyo) and not miss anything huge, but the second half is amazing. I mean, all the amazing songs are there and Namie shows off her amazing smile. <3 It's really enjoyable. During the first half, it just seems like she's not really feeling it yet. But I love how she warms up afterwards. See how I ddin't even touch her dancing? Yeah, that's always amazing. No doubt about it. Standouts: It's all about you, Come, Should I Love Him?, FUNKY TOWN, Step With It, Chase the Chance, [the special movie], CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK, WANT ME, WANT ME, Violet Sauce (Spicy), Pink Key, CAN YOU CELEBRATE?, Say the word (Breez House Mix). namie concert like usual, a little boring to watch... i watch it separately song by song... because there is just dance and dance and dance... HIDE & SEEK performance is really powerful...the rest is ok...but not that great i love the stage stair lighting though..its so cool... hide is really funny too when trying to act like namie...hahaha |
I thought it was really cool. I think her dancing...changed? I mean, i can feel the strength and softness in it this time..and her lines are more beautiful to see...
the lighting is great and great use of props this time... Very gd PLAY concept... Amura is so cool HAHA |
