I actually think none of the covers posted were really that bad, haha. In m opinion, the absolute worst cover would have to be (as ImpactBreaker said) the CD-only cover for (miss)understood. The CD+DVD version is a close second though.

I actually like the Namie Amuro Cover because it shows some type of emotion (She's usually Stone Cold Faced during her Performances, which is all I really watch from her). More specifically, an emotion not usually shown from her if at all. She looks like a rebellious, disgruntled, fed up teen. I like it.

Back in the day, Miliyah's lipstick colors were like WTF-in pigment. And the tan made her look more like a man than a woman (the Beautiful cover). Her ROSE album cover...*sigh* the intention was sweet, but the position of her head and that hairstyle...It makes her look deformed when you take a first glance at it.

When I first saw this cover, I thought I was gonna barf. She looks like she's been smeared, and apparently eating crap! And then, the PV for the song has nothing to do with the mood or the actual cover to begin with. [CROSS SEASON] actually sound like a happy song to me.

Ladies and Gentlemen...THIS is by far, the WORST cover I've ever seen in my life. He looks like he went through hell and back. Look at his lips, and his hair...When I first saw this thing I just busted out laughing. No wonder they call him, the "Bootlegged SE7EN". Strangely, however; the songs on the single are actually pretty good. I highly recommend him for J-pop fans.

I wanted to post BoA's JEWEL SONG cover but imageshack won't let me. The reason why I picked it was because BoA is apparently playing with her own dandruff. Right at the top of her head are these little white flakes, so it was kind of hard not to come to that conclusion.

This is the worst cover for AROUND THE WORLD. She looks like she just got out of a catfight and didn't have time to fix her hair. Another cover for the album is a very good picture of her, and she looks ravishing in it. :heart

That's actually one of my most favorite hitomi covers. I love EVERYTHING about thast single, it is so perfect in every way, her best songs are there, the cover is simple but it really gives me a certain feeling I can't explain :D

I think those Ami Suzuki covers are ok & so are the hitomi ones. they might not be the pretties pictures of neither artists but as covers they are interesting & not bad.

I think that BoA cover is a perfect example of a bad cover. the color combinations are ugly, the concept reminds the viewer of something unintentional like dandruff and the face looks akward. from just the face shot of BoA from that cover I would not be able to tell that it's her, she looks old in it.
