Anyone interested in them so far?

I know they are brand new, the finale was just aired yesterday, but their first song 'Like Me' really made me curious and wanting to hear more. I enjoyed watching them 'grow' during the show as well, and was REALLY happy with the judges choices for the group in the end.

I'm never into music group formed the way they did it, but they spiked my interest. Their debut cd is said to be out in June 2008.

I didn't watch the show, but I love the songs they've got so far. "Stupid ****" is so ridiculous and catchy, and "Like Me" is amazing.

I saw the Stupid **** video and it's not so much Girlicious as it is Skantastic :/
Last year was OK with the auditions for PCD. At least PCD look like women Asia would have worked with them as a band.
This year :/ 'Girl'icious and their dressing like that.

Having put such a downer on it all, I loved watching the actual show :D Drama!

I don't necessarely like the way they dress either. But coming from the same producer and founder of PCD, then you had to expect it, lol.

Lesbian? Not that I know of xD At one point during the show, a lot of them mentionned having boyfriends. And they also had a party with some random guys in the loft they lived in...

the actual show is hilarious...

Yeah me too! Seriously I just couldn't stand Charlye for some reason. I'm happy about the group the way it is, without Charlye :love.

And even though they have some ressemblance, I don't think they are the same as the Pussycat Dolls. Personally, I didn't really like the PCD other than for a few of their songs. I thought it was ridiculous how they had so many members (what was it, 7?), they all looked the same just with a different hair color, from what I remember they were way older too(late twenties to early thirties?) and it was always the same girl(Nicole) singing the songs.

Girlicious is new, fresh, young AND THEY ALL HAVE THEIR PARTS TO SING IN THE SONGS. Gosh. Sorry for the caps. There's only 4 members, they are all unique in their own way, so I can actually remember them!!

That's just my opinion though :3

maybe just me but "Nicole" reminds me of a sexier version of Hilary Duff
and Natalie is so beautiful and her voice is just so nice to hear :love

I think the budget for the Stupid **** video was like $10 but I like the song. Like Me is pretty good too. I hope they release a album soon, interesting to see if they do better than PCD.

What do you mean, "but isn't one of them a lesbian?" What makes that an issue? The show was a talent competition.

they just come of as trashy to me... but i've gotta admit, the songs are catchy! (if you ignore some of the more questionable lines like "it ain't easy being easy")

i think this is one of those bands i'll enjoy listening to, but never admit to it

I haven't heard their music so far... but I really like PCD, its fun music, so I am willing to give them a listen or two.

so, I finally (legally) downloaded the EP, because I was tired of the LQ rips I had and didn't want to wait for the album to be released.

I didn't realize how filthy the "Like Me" lyrics were before - I always thought "stiff one" was referring to alcohol or something, but it's... not, lolz.

Like Me is awesome and I'm sad that it isn't that successful here in US. I haven't even heard it on the radio yet. They're basically ten times more sexed up than PCD and in this case their first single is actually really good. I think just about any girl group is better than the Dolls though so this doesn't shock me. The "stiff one" link just shocks me every time I hear it. I also thought the video for Stupid **** was hysterical since it just ends with them stripping off their already skimpy outfits so they can have a pillow fight :laugh

I was disappointed when I saw the Stupid ******* video. It's really ridiculous... I doubt they have any choice, but I doubt the girls would approve of that... If they do, then *shakes head* that's a shame.

But the songs are very catchy, I like them :3

Awww, it isn't even a funny kind of trashy; it's just plain trashy. That's too bad. Oh well, it isn't as bad as Blackout's cover was.

anyway, Girlicious are the opening act on the Backstreet Boy's current tour and have been performing a couple new tracks, including the rumored second single, "Baby Doll," as well as "Here I Am" and "Still In Love."

and, even though the album is out a week from Tuesday in Canada, we still don't have a tracklist.

Well I have to agree that the CD cover looks weird... I mean, Nicole doesn't even look like herself. What did they do to her face?!?!?! x__x;;

Anyway. I look forward to hearing the new songs even if their imagine is horrible...

I still think this looks better. I just really think Blackout is a great candidate for "Worst Album Cover Of All-Time". I hate it THAT much.

Baby Doll is alright. It sounds a lot like something Danity Kane would do to me. I still don't really think Girlicious has their own sound, and I'm waiting until they do. That being said, I do still like them.

I think that person is just blowing smoke out their ass. the song was apparently released to Canadian radio on the 3rd, so I don't think they'll leave it off the album.

the album has a lot more slow tracks than I was expecting. based solely on the previews, "Still In Love," "Baby Doll," "Save The World" and "Liar Liar" are the stand out tracks for me.

i liked "like me"--but iunno about the rest of the tracks... iunno what i really think about them. i enjoyed watching the show, though. haha.

the album's US release date is September 29th, according to Tower. I hope the US edition includes "Leave You Alone" and "G.I.R.L.I.C.I.O.U.S."

I'm kinda disappointed with their overall image at this point.

I mean, I enjoyed watching the show, and some of their songs are really good. But they shouldn't walk around half naked all the time. I don't think it's a "Girlicious" image at all...

LOVED the album. I've been playin it loud on my stereo all night last night. I think it's really good for a debut album. So I'm happy with my purchase for 10$ only =)

this album is so amazing, way better than i expected

I like the album, except for a few songs I feel all have the same beat... I would have liked more up beat and fast songs rather than slower ones.

Yeah. But I think it's the kind of album that'll grow on me the more I listen to it.

I did that with Ayu's GUILTY album, I didn't like it when I first listened to it, but now it's one of my favorite.

the whole album has grown on me. I think, like PCD's first album, they could release five or six singles and have 'em all go top ten.

the only things about the album that bother me are "The Way We Were," which is almost a Nichole solo track and the fact that Natalie is barely featured.

Can we trust wiki for Girlicious related stuff? I know it's where a lot of Ayu rumors started but there tracklist for the US album is on there and there are some different songs...

tbh, I wouldn't trust Wiki as a first source. I'd imagine the US tracklist won't differ that much from the Canadian ver, maybe just have a different bonus track or something.

It would be SO AWESOME if the above cover is the one for the U.S. and world-wide release instead of the very crappy Canadian one :o !!

That white cover... err... just something weird. I think Nicole and Chris look really great. But Natalie and Tiffany... I don't know, their face look really odd. Especially Natalie's.

I really didn't like Nichole's hair as well and she's my favourite =\ Once again though, Natalie managed to look hot in my eyes <3 Overall video sucked, but song is still great!

I'm not sure what's up with the bright and colorful background, but I like this video. It doesn't come off as ****ty as the previous two and I liked the random dudes dancing :D Oh! And I really like Natalie's outfit!!

i like their previous videos, despite how trashy they are LOL. like me at least didn't look as cheap as baby doll does.
