Most repeating word in majority of Ayu songs?

Well I think the word "hito, hitori" <--means like one or alone right? comes up a lot in most ayu songs...so what words do you guys think ayu over incorporate into her songs?
Spoiler:
eh..this is a weird thread i've created

Bashumaru 17th May 2008 07:35 AM

taskinillusion 17th May 2008 09:19 AM

Taki 17th May 2008 11:04 AM

if to be honest...the most repeating is "LA-LA-LA":) almost every song has "la-la-la"
yeah it's Interjection not the word but anyway

sitara 17th May 2008 11:21 AM

i'll say it in english since the majority doesn't speak japanese here (i guess!)

tabi journey
kisetsu season
tsubasa wing
kizu scar
naku cry, so happy, that you cry
waratte kao smiling face
genjitsu reality

something like "i didn't really agree with that, but nodded my head and said "daijoubu"

...and so many more, she needs a new set of lyrics, plEASe!!

Qt Mashi 17th May 2008 11:30 AM

in almost all of her songs she has something about "tears" or "cry" when i read the translations

FeNgZhEnG 17th May 2008 11:36 AM

boku tachi wa~~

You make it sound like she has tsubasa in most of her songs :laugh

Actually the only songs with the word "tsubasa" in ayu's discography are:

Depend on you
Endless sorrow
WE WISH
Humming 7/4
BLUE BIRD
Secret

ImpactBreaker - There's the word hane which means feather but it changes everything =P I think that in some translations the translators translated hane to wings (I think) but hane are feathers.

(btw you made me crave for listening to BLUE BIRD and I never had cravings for hearing a summer songs except for July 1st lol).

Ehm, I'm not sure how to spell correctly.

baka-ranger 17th May 2008 12:55 PM

boku tachi wa came into mind first, its in voyage, marionette and Together When... pretty sure it'd be in many other songs but its stand out in those haha.

There are single words that are often repeated like tsubasa..but they don't strike me as much

I have to agree with the la-la-la's and iiiiiiiiiiii's haha but I love them =D also because when I sing along to those bits you know I don't need a japanese accent to pull it off XD

Yeah! BLUE BIRD is LOVE!

bluegie 17th May 2008 01:09 PM

Yes I agree... 僕達は (boku tachi wa) so really pretty in Voyage, then I felt a bit weird when I heard "boku tachi wa" in Together when (and again it's in the beginning of the song). Then this phrase appeared again in the beginning of the chorus of Marionette, which made me feel a bit annoyed somehow..

Ayumi_lover 17th May 2008 04:02 PM

Again tsubasa was just in 6 songs of ayu, I don't think that means a lot XD

Chibi_Venus 17th May 2008 11:48 PM

^ I agree. I feel like "tsubasa (wing)" doesn't appear as often as others. :P

Usually I'll be listening to her songs, hear a word, and know it sounds familiar or repeated. Although now that I'm actually asked the question, I can't think of any words.

I'll have to look and/or listen through her songs later and write them down then. :)

pommy48 17th May 2008 11:51 PM

i think if the song like endless sorrow is your fave song or something and you listen to it a lot, you'll think tsubasa is used a lot in ayu songs...

CatGirl 17th May 2008 11:55 PM

How about "wasurenai"? I remember hearing it in at least LOVE ~Destiny~, Greatful days, and Who... xD

everlastingRAINBOW 18th May 2008 12:09 AM

Shiawase! XD

kotora 18th May 2008 12:12 AM

Let me see the words frequently repeated in her songs should be japanese.
It should be Wo, yeah, la

Raiu-Ayu 18th May 2008 12:35 AM

'boku tachi wa...' appears a lot :P

4ever*ayu 18th May 2008 12:58 AM

^yup! first word that come to me after i read this thread is 'bokutachi wa' ...

and from the last 2 songs (MW/Life) there's a lot of "yeah,yeah,yeah"

Corybobory 18th May 2008 01:12 AM

I have the answer:

PrincessAyu 18th May 2008 01:48 AM

mishidabo 18th May 2008 01:50 AM

la~la

.

Kikaru 18th May 2008 01:52 AM

I guess Boku/watashi/kimi, but those words means I/you in Japanese, so I'm guessing they're no exactly rare words.

I don't understand the language, so I tend to hear one sound which sounds like a word, but they're really only part of another word...

KuroixShiroi_Namida 18th May 2008 01:56 AM

I hear boku tachi wa alot or am i just thinking i am...lol!

Hanabi_surreal 18th May 2008 02:43 AM

for me itsudate and boku tachi

pommy48 18th May 2008 03:26 AM

I remember picking up on recurring words like "scar" (or wound), "heart," "alone," and "remember." Actually, wound and heart seem to be things she mentions a lot, even in songs that are happy.

I also noticed that Kyo of Dir en grey has a few songs with similar wording (I only share cos it made me laugh to see two of my favorite Japanese music acts have that kind of similarity and be totally different music-wise).

terra 19th May 2008 09:07 AM

She used words like birds (tori), wings (tsubasa/hane), flower (hana), shining (terasu/kagayaki). Those words made her lyrics so poetic.

And off course bokutachi, bokura, boku, and kimi.

fake_foxtail 23rd May 2008 01:07 PM

I've noticed kimi wa ittai a few times. For sure I know it is in talkin' 2 myself and (miss)understood

bokutachi wa XD

that one is really present~

SolarAngel 28th May 2008 09:57 AM

I think she said tsubasa (wings) in many songs. But it's a nice word :yes

critter333294 31st May 2008 06:41 AM

Ayu says "kanashii" (unhappy) a lot. I've also heard "kenkyokuu" and "kimochii" too.

Jibun means "myself" basically, although the words that appear around it can affect the nuances. It's a pretty common word to use in the language, like "boku" and "kimi."

Aggar 19th June 2008 09:49 PM

I think "moshi" = if or example . I think she use "moshi" very often

Chibi_Venus 19th June 2008 10:21 PM

^ I love that word. ^^ Flows nicely kind of like "tsubasa." I love it whenever she sings "moshi (mo)."
