Most repeating word in majority of Ayu songs?
Well I think the word "hito, hitori" <--means like one or alone right? comes up a lot in most ayu songs...so what words do you guys think ayu over incorporate into her songs?
Spoiler:
|
bokutachi wa :P.
|
tsubasa
|
boku tachi
nan no tame ni jiyuu ai |
since listening to DOUBLE in BLACK DIAMOND where she says basho...i for some weird reason and try and find them in ayu songs too..found it in one, but forgot the song name
|
I always hear "tsubasa" a lot in her songs (because that's my license plate on my car!) :laugh
|
IIIIII
bokutachi wa subete AI |
subete - >_> infected me from fly high
ai watashi boku |
Well translated they would be:
Wings Together Road |
Obviously kimi and boku, you and me. =)
|
natsu. :D
|
if to be honest...the most repeating is "LA-LA-LA":) almost every song has "la-la-la"
yeah it's Interjection not the word but anyway |
i'll say it in english since the majority doesn't speak japanese here (i guess!)
tabi journey kisetsu season tsubasa wing kizu scar naku cry, so happy, that you cry waratte kao smiling face genjitsu reality something like "i didn't really agree with that, but nodded my head and said "daijoubu" ...and so many more, she needs a new set of lyrics, plEASe!! |
in almost all of her songs she has something about "tears" or "cry" when i read the translations
|
boku tachi wa~~

Actually the only songs with the word "tsubasa" in ayu's discography are: Depend on you Endless sorrow WE WISH Humming 7/4 BLUE BIRD Secret ImpactBreaker - There's the word hane which means feather but it changes everything =P I think that in some translations the translators translated hane to wings (I think) but hane are feathers. (btw you made me crave for listening to BLUE BIRD and I never had cravings for hearing a summer songs except for July 1st lol). |
Itzu-ta-ah-teh
^ Ehm, I'm not sure how to spell correctly. |
boku tachi wa came into mind first, its in voyage, marionette and Together When... pretty sure it'd be in many other songs but its stand out in those haha.
There are single words that are often repeated like tsubasa..but they don't strike me as much I have to agree with the la-la-la's and iiiiiiiiiiii's haha but I love them =D also because when I sing along to those bits you know I don't need a japanese accent to pull it off XD |

Yes I agree... 僕達は (boku tachi wa) so really pretty in Voyage, then I felt a bit weird when I heard "boku tachi wa" in Together when (and again it's in the beginning of the song). Then this phrase appeared again in the beginning of the chorus of Marionette, which made me feel a bit annoyed somehow..
|
kimi, boku, watashi(atashi)
|
issho ni
unmei bakari futari soba ni shinjite nai sono tokidoki koto nee kara |
TSUBASAAAA!
|
bokutachi wa definitely...always seem to hear that :yes
|
I think it is:
boku/bokutachi wa |
boku tachi wa
watashi / atashi |

^ I agree. I feel like "tsubasa (wing)" doesn't appear as often as others. :P
Usually I'll be listening to her songs, hear a word, and know it sounds familiar or repeated. Although now that I'm actually asked the question, I can't think of any words. I'll have to look and/or listen through her songs later and write them down then. :) |
i think if the song like endless sorrow is your fave song or something and you listen to it a lot, you'll think tsubasa is used a lot in ayu songs...
|
How about "wasurenai"? I remember hearing it in at least LOVE ~Destiny~, Greatful days, and Who... xD
|
Shiawase! XD
|
Let me see the words frequently repeated in her songs should be japanese.
It should be Wo, yeah, la |
'boku tachi wa...' appears a lot :P
|
^yup! first word that come to me after i read this thread is 'bokutachi wa' ...
and from the last 2 songs (MW/Life) there's a lot of "yeah,yeah,yeah" |
I have the answer:
wa |
itsuka...
|
la~la
. |
I guess Boku/watashi/kimi, but those words means I/you in Japanese, so I'm guessing they're no exactly rare words.
I don't understand the language, so I tend to hear one sound which sounds like a word, but they're really only part of another word... |
I hear boku tachi wa alot or am i just thinking i am...lol!
|
for me itsudate and boku tachi
|
boku tachi means i? or mine?
|
boku tachiwa
& ai |

I remember picking up on recurring words like "scar" (or wound), "heart," "alone," and "remember." Actually, wound and heart seem to be things she mentions a lot, even in songs that are happy.
I also noticed that Kyo of Dir en grey has a few songs with similar wording (I only share cos it made me laugh to see two of my favorite Japanese music acts have that kind of similarity and be totally different music-wise). |
She used words like birds (tori), wings (tsubasa/hane), flower (hana), shining (terasu/kagayaki). Those words made her lyrics so poetic.
And off course bokutachi, bokura, boku, and kimi. |
I've noticed kimi wa ittai a few times. For sure I know it is in talkin' 2 myself and (miss)understood

I hear the word "keshiki" a lot.

|
bokutachi wa XD
that one is really present~ |
I think she said tsubasa (wings) in many songs. But it's a nice word :yes
|
Ayu says "kanashii" (unhappy) a lot. I've also heard "kenkyokuu" and "kimochii" too.

I've felt like I've heard kekkyoku a lot.
Another word I feel I hear often is jibun. What does that mean, anyway? |

I think "moshi" = if or example . I think she use "moshi" very often
|
^ I love that word. ^^ Flows nicely kind of like "tsubasa." I love it whenever she sings "moshi (mo)."
