Ok so with all these J-pop artists doing tributes to Avril Lavigne, Nirvana and Celine Dion what do you think a Madonna tribute would be like. Lets create fake listings of what could be possible. LISA already has a covers of Cherish and Lucky Star, there is that cover of Material Girl by speena and Angelia Aki's version of Like A Virgin.

Most of the time I hate Madonna, but if it must be done... I think OLIVIA should cover something like "I Want You"

I'm sorry, but someone has to do Vogue and Papa Don't Preach. :yes And I think I would choose Nakashima Mika for Vogue and for Papa Don't Preach... I guess Amuro Namie because she's the first person I can think of off the top of my head that actually has a kid. I know that you don't have to be having a baby or whatever to sing this song, but I don't want to go and say Koda Kumi or something because people would get the wrong idea. :no

"I Want You" isn't an original Madonna song, she covered it. The original is by Marvin Gaye.

I can't really imagine Yuna singing X-static Process, Live To Tell would be the best option for her, imo. Shiina Ringo should do a rock version of Crazy For You, as she already sang it once and it was really nice!
Bye Bye Baby is a perfect choice for Tsuchiya Anna! And I think Kuu should do Incredible as well lol although it's not a Madonna classic, Koda would be perfect for it ^^
