Which gothic group is better?

For me: Within Temptation

is enya gothic? @_@..and i never heard of within temptation, so i say Evanescene

i love enya so i vote for her...

but inez i dont think enya is gothic... she never use alot of eyeliner :laugh and she didnt wear black all the time ^^

Within Temptation ^^ I lost interest in Evanescence and never cared for Enya.

Hey, you should put Dimmu Borgir in there. I own one of their albums. So cool. Now those guys are definitely gothic.

Lol what. I wouldn't even put Enya in the same relative genres as the other two. She's more New Age/Classical, whereas most people could agree that Ev and WT are rock.

Either way, we could sit here and argue about the gothicness of Ev or WT, but I have faith that it would just degenerate into nothing ala their last.fm shoutboxes.

I voted for Enya too. I love her music. She's probably the only New Age artist I listen to. Her works are amazing and I think she's a creative genius. Haha.

I loved Evanescence's Fallen album, but I hate The Open Door.

But I love Within Temptation's The Silent Force and The Heart of Everything, so I voted for them :D.

Evanescence was my choice but Enya is cool too. I don't really like Within Temptation so much :/

Enya isn't gothic, to add to everyone else saying the same thing :P

I chose Evanescence. In my opinion, they are easily the best. Enya's music is so dull and corny to me, while the other two are so much better. I do like Within Temptation, but I think Evanescence is much better. I'm actually really surprised they're in last place.

Anyway, I disregarded Enya from my choices and if ti were between Within Tempation and Evanescence, I'd choose Evanescence. I like the music and vocals better.

I voted for Within Temptation. I absolutely adore Evanescence' Fallen album, but i'm not as big a fan of their recent stuff, while I love all of Within Temptation's stuff

Enya isn't Gothic. And i personally wouldn't really consider Within Temptation and Evanescence gothic either. but i can't really vote. enya has some good songs. i think within temptation sucks and evanescence were cool once upon a time.

I don't really consider any of those bands of the gothic genre or sub genre (except for maybe early Within Temptation) usually when someone says gothic I think Bauhaus, or Sisters Of Mercy, Tristania, Elis or something.

I haven't listened to a lot of rock/metal in a long time, but I do still love Evanescence and Within Temptation.

My vote has to go to WT because I am in LOVE with their new song and I think that I like them a little better. xD
