Their voices are so mature, I love it. Replay really shows off their voices. I have yet to listen to the complete mini-album, I downloaded it, but I'm lazy, so I can't wait to hear more from them. :yes I love Key, Taemin (:heart) and Jonghyun. |
I like their new song. Time will tell how successful they are at leading fashion, music, etc., but SM Entertainment knows how to produce artists and bands, so I have faith in them.
They need to lose the bowl haircuts though. It's unattractive and it's not helping me differentiate between members. |

I'm definitely looking forward to more stuff from them. I usually don't like boybands. Both J-Pop and K-Pop. But SHINee is great. I love their voice. I also like the way they dance and their look is really unique compared to other bands. :yes

They sound pretty good. This project is obviously SM's attempt to steal some of the white-hot attention from Big Bang, though. SM is generally very saturated in highly polished pop acts with a bit of an R&B feel. They're not known for being super urban, but the current Korean music trend is for digi-hiphop/hippop. If they're going to keep up with acts like Big Bang and Wonder Girls, they need something like this. I hope they do well.

The member of SHINee are so young! For that alone, I hope they succeed. Right now, they're just a bright-eyed group of teenagers trying to make it big in a difficult industry, so I wish them the best. No one wants their dreams to be squashed as kid.
I just realized how big Minho's eyes. I also really want them to change their haircuts. Bowl cuts have never been in style and never will - for a reason. |

The mini-album is surely the hottest korean release of the year, so far. Both Replay songs are ****ing incredible. And the other songs are pretty good too (not so catchy, but still pretty good).

That song is just the catchiest song of the year! Have you seen their new Elle photoshoot? I like it, but Key and Minho got haircuts. At first I didn't like Key's because he's my lover, but now I love it. Minho's still a bowlcut, just a little shorter. I love the things they do to their hair, no other group has cuts like those. They're so fashion forward. ;3 |
