hey, people and dont know if you know this or if you care hehehe, but.. since guitar hero was not such succes in japan the people of rockband tock back the release date in japan to add songs from japanese asrtist.

do you think ayu has a chance of apearing in rock band??
what songs do you think whould be great!!! , i would love is this LOVE? or until that day...

Well Ayu has been featured in a lot of these music simulation games before. I remember seeing Depend on you on one of the games at the arcade. XD I really hope so. (I also hope they make some kind of Singstar with Japanese songs, I would so import it. :B

Agreed all around, about the artists mentioned and the Ayu songs. Hell, half of her GUILTY album could be on there too XD

Um... I think very few of her songs would fit well with a game like Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Most of them are too simple. There are a couple that might do well though.

I think if the actual design team works on the notes for Ayus songs, they can be challenging and fun to all audiences.

Pretty good but as you can see since its an amateur made notesheet, it can be better if done by the actual Rockband team. For example, during the beginning of the first verse, there are some periods of no notes but if you listen in on the song, those are all guitar notes that can be played. Also, if you listen in on the chorus, the guitar notes have variation while in the GH3 notesheet, its the same two notes that are repeatedly strummed. The notes can be varied most probably as a 121212 pattern but they aren't. Also, if you see the guitar solo part of the song, its pretty boring and whether you play GH3 or not, you'd probably agree there would be a more interesting way to strum that guitar solo

first Ayu song i've seen anyone chart on GH. :] i think the RB team could do alot with some of her songs if they tried. she has alot of catchy guitar-y songs that would be great for RB, people probably just don't hear it right off the bat.

It would be awesome if Ayu was featured on RB. Along with L'arc~en~Ciel & Dir en grey~ :) I would find a way to play it!

i hope they don't exclude Ayu to put in lame rock songs like Koda Kumi's Ningyo Hime just cus Koda Kumi has been had the height of her career lately (although not so much after the amniotic fluid incident).

probably not, it was nearly impossible to get a license from metallica just to use one song in rock band, i wonder how hard it would be to get a license from Ayu...hmm...i wonder...

Metallica has always been heavily against the sharing of music. They were one of the strongest supporters of the case against Napster, I believe they originally started the whole debacle. Sure, it does not really give a concrete answer to why it was nearly impossible to get a license for their songs on RB, but it gives you an idea of what beliefs they have. Some musical artists enjoy the free promotional advertising, others view it as stealing. Not to bash on them because I was a long time Metallica fan since primary school days, but thats just how it is.

Also, their band was in a rough stage the past few years. It was the closest they gotten to disbanding since their past bass guitarist Cliff Burton was killed. They probably knew they could bargain for a little extra cash since they could use it and their songs are legendary

Her harder rock songs would work better than simpler ones.

Sorry for such a vague response, but I'm not good at this sort of thing. :laugh The rock genre isn't my strength. :P

Originally my post before was arguing that perhaps ayus songs would be available on japanese rockband but that hadn't crossed my mind either. I mean avex works at the speed of lightning to get Ayus PVs off youtube right away after they get uploaded :LOL. Theres still a chance though. I mean GUILTY is offered now as digital downloads on Itunes, maybe her songs will go on the japanese RB?
