TA msg 236

My own rough translation...(not 100% accurate)

--------------------------------------------------------------

To everyone I met nationwide, thank you SO MUCH!

Really, 'Thank You' are the only words.

Thank you so much also to everyone that cooperated with the surprise project for ZIN on the last day.
Because I heard everyone was trying hard in the rain before the show,
and at the moment when I heard everyone's voices became one, I got chills,
and even I, who was supposed to be the person that planned this, was crying along also.

I heard this during the meeting, but Kayanocchi also cried backstage.

While covering her face. lol

But I was also making fun of her on that.

BTW, at the meeting, ZIN also remembered this and cried again.

Sooo, let's make fantastic summer memory togetherーーーーーっ♪

This is TA.
'TA' means 'Team Ayu.'
Do I even not have the right to say please stop publishing to the public the feelings that were conveyed here?

But

general meaning is still

"Do I even have the right to say not to make public the feelings I write about here?"
which, as mentioned earlier, is clearly referring to the news leaks of her entry about Aneki and CDL.
(and I was under the impression that some Jpn news were misinterpreting it and saying that the staff is lying that she has a sister. At least, that's what the Chinese media is accusing them of...)

Ayu_no_tenshi 3rd July 2008 03:53 AM

i love ZIN so much!!! lol

Deneb 3rd July 2008 03:59 AM

thanks for translating

Bad Wolf 3rd July 2008 04:08 AM

>Do I even not have the right to say please stop publishing to the public the feelings that were conveyed here?

This doesn't sound very... good. Do you think she knows people translate her TA messages and post them elsewhere?

AyuGAME 3rd July 2008 04:18 AM

thanks for sharing and translating...

The meaning might be lost in translation, but it does sound odd...

sexysaucestar 3rd July 2008 04:57 AM

May I see the original Japanese? Hm, yeah, I'm a little sketched out about that last part of the entry....

Ayumi_lover 3rd July 2008 05:00 AM

the last sentence in japanese please.. it's sounds so..... ((

jonneh 3rd July 2008 05:00 AM

lol yeah, I saw that last part and it confused me.
Is that from her or is that from the OP?

...weird/scary.

Ayumiko 3rd July 2008 05:26 AM

o_O...ayu forgive us...I wanna join but I can't coz I'm not from Japan. :( I would definitely join if you make it a international fanclub.

alternarist 3rd July 2008 05:53 AM

sad to say this but it's a fact that once things get onto the world wide web, the news will be spread across the entire globe within minutes..

so the only way for those entries to not be seen by non-members, is to not post it at all.. right?

Bad Wolf 3rd July 2008 05:56 AM

^ I agree. The fact that it's on the internet, and that Ayu has fans internationally who care about her and have a serious interest, makes it a sure thing that whatever she posts will be shared for those in other countries and who speak other languages. Maybe something was lost in translation, since it does seem a little weird and "off" compared to the rest of the entry - and that she doesn't even elaborate on it on the following message :O

truehappiness 3rd July 2008 06:05 AM

Ayu is talking about the fact that Japanese news sources are getting ahold of the Japanese diary entries, and releasing the information to the public.

She is not talking about the international fans, but she's talking about the newspapers and stuff that publish her words. For example, a few days after she revealed her deafness, it popped up everywhere in Japan. And just recently, the story about "Aneki's" death spread as AT08 ended.

Bad Wolf 3rd July 2008 06:15 AM

^ Ahh, I had wondered about that, too, but for some reason totally neglected to mention it in any of my previous posts. D'oh.

While I think she has a right to feel offended and bothered, all the same I think the general rule of the internet is that (1) nothing is sacred and (2) nothing is safe. D: Sad but true.

sounds logical. but even so, ayu's entries are in the WWW! i am sure the Japanese news sources find it easy to get hold of news of aneki's death and such. so i feel that we cant actually blame anybody. because if the news didnt dig out all these juicy info, there wouldnt be such things call "entertainment section" in papers.

i was also quite shocked that aneki's death was the hot topic after AT 08 ended.

by the way, the sales of tickets to AT 08 in taiwan jus started 2 hours ago tickets got sold out in like 35 minutes (for the 4500NT tickets). i didnt get any tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Wolf 3rd July 2008 06:45 AM

THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES?! X_X Jesus Christ! I'm sorry you didn't get any, honey - maybe a kind soul will be able to help you out ;-;?

alternarist 3rd July 2008 06:57 AM

well who can help me out??? there are no more tics left. i have checked. the highest price for both 01 and 02 nov are all sold out.

Ayumiko 3rd July 2008 07:02 AM

I wouldn't be surprised. Ayu holds the record for fastest ticket selling artist at taipei dome last year.

truehappiness 3rd July 2008 07:23 AM

I'm pretty sure that the news sources that got the Aneki information from TA are actual members of TeamAyu. D:~

Ayu can't do much about her information if she tells her FC. But I guess it's in her own interests to keep on doing so.

Did you go on Ayuchina to see if anyone was selling any? D:

this time round i decided to try buying tickets myself so i did all my homework but to no avail.

But those pple re-selling it at ayuchina most probably sell it at a higher price.. -___- which is something i wanna avoid.

AyuHamasaki01 3rd July 2008 07:53 AM

A surprise for ZIN? Nice, I hope they will include it on the DVD and also the crying parts.

omg i just about to ask my friend in taiwan to ask about the info...

another dissapointment *sigh*

truehappiness 3rd July 2008 07:59 AM

The Zin surprise was explained I thought.. it was the MC-dance section of the concert and Zin came down from the fabric used during End roll / HANABI and was waiting since the beginning of the MC.. I think?~ Or maybe it was something else. Oh well.

And about the Taiwan tickets.. unless you live there, your best bet would probably be a reseller. Usually seats are sold for quite a bit more than what they are supposed to cost.. the only way to avoid that [in ANY case, not just this] would probably be to be a TeamAyu member. D: Otherwise, you're screwed.

Seems like the Chinese media don't really understand the use of the work aneki? D:

Ayumiko 3rd July 2008 08:27 AM

Most of the chinese articles mentioned ayu's aneki as her good friend that she refer to as sister but there were some articles saying how some ppl online are questioning ayu as if she's lying coz from what they know, ayu is the only child in her family. I always thought referring a good or best friend as sister is not that uncommon...like how some ppl have god sisters and so on.

BoBo 3rd July 2008 08:39 AM

10x for posting this :)

majrakun 3rd July 2008 09:52 AM

Does this mean we'll never get to read TA messages again? T____T And she didn't mention anything about Subaru. Maybe it wasn't much of a big deal, I guess. ^^,;

Yeah, it's definitely not uncommon - even here in the West - to use such terms. We'll even go so far as to call them our girlfriends lol. Maybe the writers of these articles should get some better sources about these things.

ayu_fantasy 3rd July 2008 04:18 PM

Ayu's so cute... :)

Well, i think i get what she mean for the last sentence... Something like it's within her abilities to stop her msg from leaking out??

MissElin_ 3rd July 2008 05:12 PM

Man 35 minutes! Thats really fast! ^^ Coolio.

I hope so, yeah, that might be it...

Although japanese culture is a litte bit xenophobic, well it's no wonder, Japan is an island and it was more closed from cultural influences for a long time in the past... So I think she feels more connected to her japanese fans but that's only natural. But still, I guess she meant the news.

Moody 4th July 2008 12:02 AM

I was kind of upset when I read her (Ayu's) message last night, well really upset, because I didn't understand why we international fans have to be "left out" of her fan club. I understand how she feels close to the Japanese people, her people, but does that mean she doesn't care for her other fans? Maybe not so much her fans in Asia, but Europe and America's?

Maybe I am jumping to conclusions, it's just frustrating. :( And personally, for her respect I'm not going to read her TA messages anymore.

Again, I don't think many people are reading this correctly.

She probably has NO IDEA [99.9% sure] that people from China/Taiwan and the USA and around the world are seeing the TeamAyu messages.

What's troubling her is that her "private" messages are being quoted in the media in Japan. She wants the freedom to be able to post a meaningful post and not have it spread around the Japanese newspapers. However, with the fact that it's an online blog, news reporters that are her fans will probably leak the information to the media. Either that, or the news companies themselves have a subscription to TeamAyu. D: It's sad, really.

Oh I understood that myself. I am just sad personally that I can not be a fan club member really unless I move to Japan which I know I won't/can't.

truehappiness 4th July 2008 12:53 AM

Well, you could be a fan club member overseas, but it costs a lot of money. [:(]

I've always kind of wanted to pay someone to buy me a TeamAyu subscription so I could log in to the site.. :D~~

Please. Ayu is not the only one without an international FC.

Out of all the other artists, there are like what...2 or 3 that do?

extepan 4th July 2008 01:07 PM

thanks!!

Chibi_Venus 5th July 2008 03:50 AM

Thank you for this message!

Glad to see she's happy again about the show. :)

I just find it funny how people at the beginning of this thread were asking for the Japanese. Normally it's like, "English (translation) please!" XD Irony is fun. :P

Yoake 6th July 2008 03:44 PM

thanks for translation^^

ownsarai 6th July 2008 04:50 PM

Thanks for the translation. I also do wish that Japanese media wouldn't print stuff about Ayu like they do, but as long as someone is in her fan club that works, or is close to someone that works in the Japanese media, then it will never stop. And especially with the internet usage these days. Poor Ayu...she can't keep some things a secret between her and her Japanese fans. :(

But I also agree with the comment that Ayu needs a international fan club. She should know by now she has tons of fans all around the world. And we all cannot afford to pay a person in Japan to have a TA membership.

I hope everything works out for Ayu~ :thumbsup

btw. what was Zin's suprise for?? was it his b.day or what?
i doubt it was his b.day because they cryed.... or is he leaving the dance group?
