[Official] Avex 20th Anniversary 20 Nen 200 Kyoku Album
 

I'm sure everyone knows that this year is Avex Trax's 20th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, Avex plans to release a compilation mix album to celebrate its 20th anniversary, which is officially on April 11. Titled "20 Nen 200 Kyoku," the collection is said to fit 200 of the company's biggest hits on 4 CDs. The official track list can be found HERE.

The list of Ayumi's song included in the compilation are:

There are 9 Ayu songs, 9 Namie songs (including Uh Uh... / SUITE CHIC), 6 Kumi songs, 6 Ai Otsuka songs, 6 EXILE songs, 5 BoA songs, 5 TRF songs, 5 do As Infinity songs, 1 Ami Song ..

That's already 52 songs. XD

I don't like the song choices, but oh well.

I can think of like, 8 songs that were hits that belong on there besides those two.

M should be on there...I dont think STEP you was that big of a hit to outrival some of her other singles

^ Yeah, it's pretty much a guarantee that she had to be included.

I think it's cool they included the same amount or a decent amount from other artists, too! But.. only one Ami? :( I'm not a big fan of hers, but I think since she's been around almost as much as Ayu she'd have at least three or four, y'know? (I wonder if the stigma still sticks...)

Can I just say that I LOVE that SEASONS, Dearest and Moments made the cut? *_* Moments is on right now and this song is so~ beautiful, I swear. And OMG BLUE BIRD BEST SUMMER SONG EVER.

People here forget very quick that our taste is different from the japanese taste -nowadays- avex most likely put songs that will make it sell good!
So they chose good summer/up-beat songs and popular ballads (SEASONS) though I agree M should've been there too!

A lot of my favorites are on those CDs like 50 songs XD
It's going to be a non-stop thingy I want to hear it!

Sadly they don't include Trauma, M, Evolution, Independent, Ourselves, Fairyland or Mirrorcle World... Of couse they won't include her entire discography!, but at least M!

It's going to be a non-stop mega mix thingy (like ayu's ayu-mi-x II,III, IV and 5 non-stop mega mixes).
It must be something like a minute and a half of which song or something.

Well, Avex DOES host international artists Japanese releases.

That being said, they're also considered "avex" artists and have made them large sums of money as well

Almost all Disney stars music are distributed by Avex in Japan. I guess the same goes for Fatman Scoop and Aaliyah.
