One of the saddest PV ever, maybe?
 

It is Miho Fukuhara's 2nd single, Himawari. The song is auto-biographic and talks about the death of her first childhood love. The PV moves around this fact too. It is depressing and really sad. I may sound like an emotional, but I cry every time I watch this. :weep

wow, that was pretty and sad. That's one of the reasons I love jpop, it's so CUUTE and true. I don't see this kind of music/PV charting US charts, neither where I live (Brazil)

I can't translate the whole lyrics, even though because I don''t understand when she does falceto at the chorus. I'll try to find out what the lyric says and share with you guys.

I don't think she meant love as in like... crush love. Maybe more like brother/sister love. At least, I think that's how the boy saw it :x.

I didn't mean the age. Also the way the parents reacted.
That gave me more the feeling that it was about her brother or something.

Remember that japanese girls are really short, so I don't think it's that strange tho;

I think that the other people in this thread saying the boy was her brother are right. I don't exactly know anything about Miho, but based on her going into his room and what appeared to be the mother crying or whatever in the kitchen, I do think he was her sibling.

Either way though, it was a very sad video and tears did come to my eyes at a few points, especially so at the end when the current Miho opens the tin and finds no seeds, but sunflowers all around. That I thought was probably the most touching part of the entire video.

Maybe she considered her childhood love as a brother for her.

I want to know where the bruise on his face came from. Everytime I see it... I keep thinking that he's been abused. Maybe Miho-chan's family had some money, and they had a housekeeper of sorts and he was said housekeeper's child, it would explain the flash of him in the house, or maybe it was a cousin, it isn't uncommon for young children to develop crushes on older cousins.
