What do you think about the overall new look and changes made in last.fm page?
 

I'm personally a little sad that the list of 50 main songs you listened to that were displayed on the main page were just cut to 15. I know you can still see them all, but you have to click on the link. Also the page looks a little plain imo. I don't really know. I hope they'll add more things. I'm personally not very amazed by the new stalking feature though:no...I've just disabled it :laugh

They went to the beta? Ugh, I don't really like it. The older one was a lot better. This new one just seems.. bleh. I miss the little collage of recently-played artists.

I guess the new layout is better for the eyes? It's ok but i don't mind the old or the new layout ;D!

I wonder if it is just some testing...while there are a few things that look a little clearer, overall it looks very plain :nervous

It looks plain, but so far I think it is more useful/easy. :)

I don't mind the layout, but I don't like the color. Wish I could change it to something darker.

t seems like you can add little hearts to your favorite songs now LOL Was it possible before? maybe I just hadn't noticed LOL

That's the loved tracks feature, it's just much easier to use than before! =D

I was a bit weirded out by it at first, but it grew on me quickly. I think it looks a lot cleaner now, plus I absolutely LOVE how it makes my entire shoutbox viewable (as opposed to that old "view in popup" that cut out all the old shouts) and keeps track of the artists and songs I've recently commented about. As long as that "stalkerbox" doesn't start showing whose profiles I've been visiting and how often, then it's fine with me!

Another great change is the "library" feature.

Overall, I like it. It looks a little too MySpace-y, which I hate, but it also looks cleaner and more organized. It's fun and funky, whereas the previous site was very chic and professional. It's a change to get used to.

Not too fond of it, but it'll probably grow on me later.

Its ducking cack and the munt who decided to change it should slap themselves with a large fish for ducking up one of the best sites ive used.

I really like it. I just don't like how the overall artists and tracks were shortened.

You can change them you know. You see the little tab next to the charts, click that and a drop down should appear, well, select settings and then just follow the on screen prompts.

OMG, that was actually the main thing that was bothering me! Now that you pointed it, I'm actually happier now! :D Good to know!

I like some of the changes made (such as auto-updating lists), but overall I think the new layout is ugly compared to the old one. It just looks messy now. I really do hate it. There should be an option so that individual users can choose which layout they can have.

They have stated that the old layout won't be an option even for those who don't agree with it. I agree with the staff on last.fm because this sort of complaining happened in 2005, which was last time they had a major makeover.

Ugly.

Granted, there are new features that are just awesome, such as auto updates and the LIBRARY omg I was so happy we could finally delete artists from our lists! But overall I don't like the look at all. The old layout was very streamline and it was easy for me to find everything when I started. I don't like where they've placed a lot of things, but I suppose I'll get over it. I mean I'm still going to use it and all.

I never said they were going to include one. You don't need to tell me something I already know.

I like it,, except some details. I hate how the shoutbox is stuck at the bottom, that's not good. And am I missing something or why people are excited about the Library? There's nothing interesting to do with it, except seeing pictures of the artists I have listened.

I also miss the quilt of pictures of the recently listened tracks.

The library is cool because, well, it's a different way to view your artists. Plus you can click on them and get a break down of all the songs you've listened to by them.

I'm still getting used to it. I was a little attached to the last version. I kinda liked how they made the user's library, but I miss how the top artists of the week aren't really shown and don't show how many spots it moved up or down. XD

I kinda liked the cover flow better than this new one.

You can still show the top artists of the week, though it will not be a frozen statistics of the week, but actually accurately from the 7 last days from the day you are accessing it (if anyone can understand the difference). Where there are pictures of your top listened artists, you just change the configuration to 7 last days. However, it is limited to fewer artists now, instead of the 10 we were used to.

I deleted my account there because of it. XD I was sick of Last.fm anyway...

But I loved the "Romaji [Kanji]" thing! I used to stalk your page a bit bcz I loved your music taste too. :P
