However, i don't think it's a wise choice to include new songs in this complete edition album, as their novelty will be overshadowed by the whole lot of awesome past singles song in the album. One good example will be part of me in A BESTll -BLACK-

Haha i would be even more elated if ayu release a new single BUT at least this complete edition album can help to prolong my patience for a slightly longer period of time.:P

And the TA performances are quite striking!

This release is nice for fans and all.. but I hope there's room SOMEWHERE this year for an actual NEW single.... there hasn't been new material for a long time; and if September will be for this release; then we'd get a new single in 2009-April or so? pfff,... And if they're remastered like A BEST 2, what a waste... I hope they're re-arranged and re-sung.. Ayu's pre-2000 voice is awful; her post-2005-voice is completely awesome!

no new song, unreleased covers, anation performances, TA limited (if it's limited, why it's released now after all!?). It sounds like they have scratched all the ayumi hamaski files/stuff to "produce" (meaning both release and picking up smth) this out of avex shelves....

I agree, the remastered tracks on A BEST 2 wasn't all that and was only really noticeable on a few songs to me at least. I really thought Avex would do something like A BEST X with Ayu's most loved songs over the last ten years with new remixes and re-recorded but no such luck...I would rather have that than this.

Its true some people said that the remastered tracks are bonus. I am looking forward to it. The DVD content appeals to me. But anyway no matter what ayu released, I will still support them as a true hardcore fans. I just hoped that ayu could release something like the best selection, and some unreleased material, maybe make an extended version of never ever video, or make some video for singles that previously had no video filmed to include for the DVD section.

It's only been 2 hours since the news was released and there's already been tons of posts! I'm really thrilled (but where's the new song, meh...) especially for the DVD! It's perfect for people like me who are not in TA and don't buy a-nation stuff. Monochrome is an interesting representation of A but i wished July 1st was selected instead of independent and pride instead of Bold&Delicious but still it's great. Maybe this should have been released on the 8th of april but whatever. I'm so getting this (there had better be an OS version for this)!

I'm still wondering.. is this gonna sell well (it's a huge package, hopefully wellpromoted; it's not so expensive and it's a best-album (I think)) or is this gonna be a flop (most of the stuff is already released, it's 2008 and Ayu doesn't sell millions anymore, no new song).... I have no idea. In asia this is gonna be great probably.. Most new asian fans didn't get to buy her first singles

Great, now we're taking a very classic Ayu song and turning it into something new. >_> Some songs are to be left alone, or they aren't classic anymore. This song just isn't meant to have Ayu's new vocals. Ah well, they'll probably mess this up a LOT and turn it into something weird sounding.
