Welcome to the 2nd Official Ayu Rumors thread.

We're continuing all discussion of rumors and unconfirmed "news" related to Ayumi Hamasaki here, as a way of keeping this forum as organized as possible and preventing confusion among members regarding actual news.

I ask that a few simple guidelines are followed:

To add to this..

It seems as though the rumor of One's all went from a thing that someone made up on a board on some Ayu BBS to something that was posted on 2ch to something that was posted on ayu.no.. and then the story ended up getting twisted to say that someone on TeamAyu initially posted it on the Ayu BBS.. so strange. I wonder how it ended up that way, since plenty of blogs are now saying that a member of TeamAyu posted the information..

Well, considering that she wrote it a while ago and still has yet to record the new songs, I'm pretty sure One's all is disproven.

I think that people should NOT have posted anything about that until further notice.

But, eh. I'm not sure how things will go.. hopefully we don't end up seeing "One's all" on her official site, and instead we see some other title.

INCREDIBLY suspicious from the start. Especially considering that no one in Japan really gives about the rumor [we've probably talked about it more at all the overseas forums than they have.. which is sad imo.]

i think a different version of monochrome would be nice, though...i mean, i agree with the fact that remakes are never better than the originals--but it would be interesting to hear, and might take on a new emotion, or something....haha :D

I like the idea of ever free ~episode II~ and monochrome ~10th anniversary ver.~ Those would be awesome. Only if monochrome had it's original music on it. If Ayu changes that into rock pop then... damn. :<

But too bad it's just a rumour. :<

Ayu's new A-side song will be a technoish/DJish song, that sounds noisy and has a hard-to-distinguish chorus. It sounds like a kind of remixed song, but more refined. It reminded me a bit of July 1st meets Startin meets Mirrorcle World meets a remix. There was something about a B-side ballad, too. But I don't know if they were disappointed at that there was no ballad, or that there was a ballad.

Well, it seems a little too good to be true, but it sounds plausible too. I hope it's true! And maybe I should get the USA version, since there's 'English subtitles' in the DVD...

^OMG.... is that for real???? If A Complete will be really released in US, I would take both Japanes and American verisions

wiki news = fake!

These lines kinda give it away. I think the "in fact" just makes it more obvious that the person who wrote it is joking. I highly doubt that the compilation is going to be released in the US; Ayumi hasn't even released any physical CDs beforehand in the States, so why would she release a compilation if virtually no Americans know of her?

The fact that the news is ONLY talking about America prooves it's fake. If Avex/Ayu would be to seriously release something, it wouldn't be JUST in the USA.

Ayu saw how popular she was when she went to France. If she was to release something in America, I think she'd release it everywhere else too.

Along the lines of what qwerty Neffiline said, Ayumi would probably start doing things in the United States before she released something, just like she filmed a music video in France first, saw how popular she was, and THEN she would consider releasing in Europe.

As much as I would love for this to be true, I doubt it. Not that this would make me buy it, I would just like to be happy that America actually has a different release. (It's like, "For once!" Not just Japan and Asia. :P)

If this is real, let's hope the prices are cheaper XD I know it's THREE CDs and a DVD, but on the whole CDs just aren't as expensive here as they are in Japan.

Absolute bull****! There's no way this would ever happen. Even if it was released here, which it most certainly won't be, it would probably sell about 2,000 copies nationwide.

yeah. i agree with a lot of the people on this page. Wikipedia is notorious for having bad information cause its all edited by people joined on the site supposedly. lol in my courses at school we arent allowed to use it as a source for that very reason XD

And about the credibility of Wikipedia... I don't usually go there for news, per say, but I think it's a very reliable source when doing resource. They do monitor it and try and keep false claims that don't cite sources down, you know.

Why not? Could be possible since she also released 'GUILTY' in the United States, and in many other countries.
So even for all that I'm still against that Ayu goes global.

^ I don't think GUILTY was legally released in the states. The store that sold it might have just ordered it for it to sale there or something. =/

^ GUILTY wasn't released in the US. Unless you count iTunes, which I don't because it wasn't added on the release date.

Most stores can techincally import music for you, it's just not really advertised. So you CAN techincally get it in the US, but it'll be a while before it's able to be imported, and you definately can't pre-order it =/...

Eventhoug everyone knows that wiki=mostly means fake ::cough::, I'm sure everyone somewhere deep inside wish that this would come true. And I'm one of them hehe! I don't really understand why AVEX haven't made the move and released at least a single in the US? They record, shoot PVs and have some photoshoots there and Ayu visits Hawaii almost every summer. They have done so much over there BUT promoting her. I find it weird. Many of her songs have a distinct ''western/rockish'' sound, like Startin', MW etc. I'm sure they would do good over there. If not US, why not Europe? Sometimes I don't really understand big and gready companies like AVEX

Its Ayu that has said in the past she doesnt want to go worldwide.

I truly, truly doubt this is real (losses would be MUCH higher than profits), but it's great if it is.

However, I hate that the covers will be different if it's real. The awesomeness of the 3CD+DVD cover is one of my only reasons for wanting this. :P

I am lookin at Ayu's info in wikipedia and i don't see it mentioning anything about a US release...where did u see it?

becuase wiki is usually pretty accurate..they quote sources of their article..so u can just check the source to see if it's real or not

Most likely false, Ayu (or perhaps jus Avex) is smarter about global marketing. I don't think A COMPLETE would just abruptly release in the US without any knowledge about her fanbase size and what are the projected sales. So many Asian artists try out the global expansion and fail, I'm sure they are smarter about it.

If stuff doesn't sounds like timbaland made it, it's not going to be heard in the USA. Specially if it isn't sang in english, so to be honest there's no point in her having anything physical released there.

Most likely A COMPLETE will be sold somewhere in the U.S., like Kinokuniya and BookOff, but I doubt it will be released in the U.S... just imported.

With Ayu, Wiki is accurate less than half of the time with "new news."

It's sad, but some people are dumb and loooove to make stuff up.

it was posted already but this information for 95% is fake.
We have to wait new single in late September not in middle, because on 17th sales of A COMPLETE still will be going very well. New single will be released just after A COMPLETE sales will highly decrease. Ayu promised us a new song in lat message but it must to be in very late September.

Dude, it's wikipedia. Plus this is quite an old rumor.
