Ah, some stunt for a magazine to try and get attention. It would have been disturbing if Ayu had looked like Ayu. But it doesn't really look like Ayu, so..

Like, I think in American you have "mad tv" one,
But CoreMagazine is like tabloid magazine, and produces these comics.
The title says like "The truth about the left ear."
They names her like Tamasaki Aimi, and she is going through first one of five "Rottening Curses", like they gonna eat her or consume her fully. =[

I can't see the kanji too well, it's a bit too small..
But the tatoo one, he asking if it hurt, and she is saying to herself that it did, but she has a straight face.

Basically, it says that it's gonna to be a series from now on
I guess until the 5 curses kill Tamasaki. T T scary.

It's terrible to make fun of something so serious. They may have changed the name to get around copyright infringement or something... but the tattoos make it way more than obvious.

i think mad magazine is quite harsh! i havn't read any issue myself, but when i was browsing mag covers in a store i'd find a mad magazine with parodies about current events. there was also a parody about britney last year and yes, it was very offensive. mad magazine milks every scandal they can get.

Oh, like I said I never read the magazine. I've seen some of the shows on Mad TV. I liked their parodies about popular tv shows but I never saw them make fun of an actor personally.

I hate when people make fun of actors/singers/etc. personally. It's one thing to make fun of a character they play on a show, but it's another to make fun of true things about them.

okay, from what I understand, the reason why ayu loses her ear function totally is related to her tattoo with her ex. That is a kind of supernatural claim and put two separate idea together.
This is not the same kind magazine as mad magazine. CORECOMICS is a kind of "extreme thinking" magazine. The editors of this magazine are crazy, in our sense. They think ayu's ear loses its function is because her ex use the supernatural power after she breaks up with him. Thats why they say something about their tattoo..

I would say this magazine tries to make the disgusting/horror/supernatural level to like the tv show "fear itself","master of horror".

They are not making joke. They want to claim their crazy thinking are right.

I told him "Why didn't you buy it?!" LOL
But he didn't, cause he doesn't care about her LOL.

But I'm not surprised at all this is on sale... like, I know this magazine exists,
But remember when the convenience stores were selling "Koreans are evil" kind of books? And it took like the law to make it stop selling?

I'm not that angry but its really disrespectful and not classy. Even for a parody it is low. Most parodies or celebrity jokes make fun of something they did, not something that happened to them. It would be like people making fun of Bernie Mac's death or laughing at a crippled person
