Totally excited to hear that it's a new song! And who cares about the title, it'll be great. The song is definatley a VERY MUCH NEEDED CHANGE! God, I was loving the ROCKER Ayu but this is definately a FRESH BREEZE. Lord, it's so calming and kind of a poppish-ballad. I am so excited now to what the future holds for this release!! I, too, thought it might have to do with the Olympics.

Are you kidding me... ? Lol. MY ALL is such an "album/concert ending" song. glitter is very poppish and the basic summer single (fairyland/BLUE BIRD/glitter) and upbeat. This song is refreshing, and calming. I don't want to say it's Moments because it's not but I'd say that the closest thing. It has the same general feel. And I love Ayu's vocals. It kinda sounds oriental as well. Also, keep in mind that the song may change drastically by the time of the release, especially if it's the same song Ayu just was blogging about recording in the studio - which I believe it's highly likely as Ayu talked about her voice being "sqeaky". For some reason I think that the song will have drastic changes in it like Mirrorcle World and other non-typical songs like that that Ayu has done in the past.

Wow it feels so nice commenting about a completely new song from a CM. Haven't done that in a while!

GREEN. I like the title, too bad the song seems to be somewhat generic like Life. I hope I'll change my mind when the full song comes out.

Hm.. this makes me think that she could do a "primary color" single with RED, BLUE, and GREEN... [they're additive primaries. Look it up.]

I definitely hear the "Will"-like features.. but it's very unique. I love it. However, I feel as though this will be a 2nd A-side..

I really like the new song, as far as I can tell. Sounds nice and different. But I also think this is not the song Ayu was talking about in her blog. Like the one with the band and the dancers. It seems like a ballad she doesn't need much choreography for. So maybe it's on a new album? Wasn't Jewel like this? Appearing in a Panasonic CM in August of 2006?

I hope its a B-Side and not an A-Side for the new single.

Ayu only talked about the song with her band and dancers because inbetween recording sessions [one before and after] she had a band rehearsal for a-nation. It had nothing to really do with the song.

I think this song is perfect for people who weren't too into Mirrorcle World since it was so "heavy"... but then if they didn't like that, they could've gone for Life [which almost no one went for imo.]

To me, this song is very unique-sounding. I mean, it's a ballad, with uplifting elements, but it really isn't anything like fairyland/Born to Be/MY ALL/etc. I really, really don't see where anyone gets that. If anything, it is more of a Will type song, but as mentioned it really shouldn't be compared to past songs in every post.
It's serene and gives a feeling of peace, and perhaps nostalgia. Hopeful without being too energetic, and reminiscent without necessarily being sad. I really love the sound of it so far.

For the last 2.5 years, she's had at least two new songs out for us with each new single.. this situation should probably be no different imo.

I feel as though this could be a forced Ayu track yet again for the fact that she speaks about love and and a "loved/lovely person.." But then again, this could be written in a different perspective than her own.

This song has less nostalgia attached to it [as Life did up the WOAH-train] and it sounds more like a "I'm looking towards the future with this loved person.."-song.

Just having listened to it without knowledge of the lyrics gave me the impression. I can't quite explain... just the feeling the song gave I suppose? Perhaps nostalgia isn't the right word though. I need a word that conveys a sense of ... calm acceptance? I dunno. But just in the sense that it seems vaguely positive, without being very upbeat or emotionally overwhelming.

That's exactly what I felt! I even said it in an IM conversation!

"This song is sort of like "I accept this world for what it is.." in a way.."

It's like, not overflowing with nostalgia, but it has an uplifting sort of outlook. Like.. it's a song of quiet empowerment or something. Perhaps this is something that came from all that happened earlier this year? [Or Life was a result of that and it was her looking back at it all from an omniscient-like perspective..]

After listening for the past 60 loops, I'm hearing a lot of strings. Gen Ittetsu Strings, y'all! So.. yeah. This is probably either gonna be arranged by H/\L or we're gonna get lucky and get Yuta for this.

this songs fits perfectly to "life" so calm and rather not the typical ayu sound.
maybe the next album will have such a calm mood! after guilty, which was rather hard it think, the next album is like coming out of a storm.

but heck, i don't like it so far. it sounds like a generic jpop song and very repetitive. and generic jpop is...uuuh... i wanted something energetic, but okay. let's see for the next single release.

The song sounds wonderful from the preview, very different for ayu. The melody does somewhat remind me of glitter & MY ALL, which were mentioned before, but the overall mood & arrangement seems to recall the mid-tempo "epic" songs like Heartplace and Will. Definitely more mid-tempo climactic ballad than upbeat pop number like the first two.

But we'll see how it sounds soon! :) I'm really excited. :)

The title is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I LOVE green! It's so nature-ish, and it's great! This song makes me feel like I'm dreaming though. When I dream new songs they usually sound pretty weird, like incomplete. Like this song. And they usually have awesome titles. X3 I gotta listen to this CM more often. It sounds gorgeous though. o____o!!!

She recorded 2 songs, 1 in Japan when she was back from Hong Kong and 1 in LA (which is the kakkoii song) so they most likely used the one she recorded in Japan :D

Yep, the melody sounds a bit recycled but I love the instrumentals, and the guitars sound so good in the background making it more powerful. :luv2

I thought decision was boring when I first heard the preview but now I love it so I'm not gonna make a final judgement on this song yet either, until I hear the whole song in good quality. :)
