I would be happy about this, but I don't consider diva a good term. :)

Well, I believe the original term used was utahime.

And specifically, it's utahime for the Heisei Era for teenagers. lol.

Utahime doesn't really mean diva.. just "great songstress" or something similar, but it doesn't imply high-maintenance like Diva does.

I'm VERY glad Hikki is #2!~ :D And Ayu #1 of course! They both deserve it!

Ayumi and Utada definitely deserve the top two spots. I don't agree with ayaka getting #3 - she's only had two studio albums out, and while her voice is strong, her popularity and image and nowhere near as great as Namie's or Koda Kumi's. Those male voters are misinformed.
