OMG! Hawtness Alert! Ami looks so cute/sexy in the shoot. She reminds me of Sowelu tho. lol The Disco covers are hot as well. I haven't heard the new song yet but I hope it's something like Free Free (my current Ami addiction song). :heart

^In my opinion can't stop the DISCO doesn't sound like any of the songs that Ami has done (with Nakata). If anything, can't stop the DISCO reminds me of a "developed" feel the beat.

totally agree. nakata is such a musical genious, i swear. :luv2 i never liked dance music until i heard FREE FREE for the first time last summer (2007) i never even liked ami either, lol.

yeah, i agree w/ s1012h. it doesn't sound like the typical Nakata sound. but i like it!

Humm... I gotta be honest and say that I don't really like "can't stop the DISCO". The PV isn't great either. :shrug

To me, can't stop the DISCO is catchier than ONE, I like it more. The video is pretty entertaining too, she looks great.

can't stop the DISCO is more radio-friendly and lighthearted compared to ONE. ONE to me is the deepest song she's made with Nakata, lyric-wise and musically.

If Ami inspires from western singers, she should do some PVs like Britney Spears... :D

I think this is my favorite release from Ami since FREE FREE.

I'm still growing towards liking can't stop the DISCO. The verses so far are really boring. Need to hear the full version before I judge anything else. :]

i wasn't really into ONE like i am with can't stop the DISCO. i think CSTD is an awesome song, it lived up to my expectations.

yeah I agree. CSTD is kinda new material not like FREE FREE or ONE so that's why I like this song more.. I hope she does her album faster

08 version of SUPER MUSIC MAKER? Hope it doesn't suck.
I like the fact can't stop the DISCO uses Ami's natural voice during the verses but they're boring and the added effects that backup the melody are really annoying.

I'd prefer a 2008 version of an older song too...

I'm really looking forward to the album because I love Nakata's works (capsule, Perfume, all of Ami's collaborations with him, etc.). CSTD is very catchy; I thought it was boring and bland at first, but it grew on me like mold. :P Thank goodness it wasn't a disappointment for me. :)

And I'm also happy that he's producing the album because I want an album that's consistent. I loved DOLCE, but I hated how she made 3 or 4 random songs that didn't fit with the other club, techno songs.

the songlist sounds cool! but i wonder if all of her song will use the vocoder? cause i thinhk i'll get sick within 4~5 songs :tired but still looking forward to it too! the name of the song sounds simple though... flower, love mail etc

I love all the tracks, this is a great single. I can't tell which original track I like the best, they're both really good, and I love the shouting in Climb Up To The Top. I love the remix of SMM too, better than the original.

This single is MAD HOT! I didn't think she could ever top FREE FREE because it's actually one of the most awesome ongs of its genre I've ever heard. THis single has an A side that compares plus a great Bside and a great sounding remix. :love I can't WAIT to hear this! wooo!

Mmm ... I realised that people have been commenting that the CSTD PV is similar to Kylie's In Your Arms PV. How about the ONE PV being similar to Kylie's Wow PV? I think the director of Ami's PVs is highly inspired by Kylie, but I think the ideas are too similar to just dismiss them as separate.

I don't know if inspiration is the best word.

That wow thing is why I am so mad about CSTD's PV. I'm going to kill that imaginationless director if I see ami doing something like kylie in her All I See video. I mean it's kylie's next single release after Wow and In my arms...
