Asiavision head Andreas Gerlach said the competition's format is "suited" to the region.

Sorry, btu I don't think that's a good idea either. I think usually the top is determined by good song and political and the winner must have both which is unfortunate. HOWEVER the judges will only make it worse. What will they judge by? Trendiness? Nice composition? "nice" song? I (don't remembe rthe song) remember what was said about the UK song bein sooo good this year but still getting no votes... Well, it might be a good album track or whatever, but I coul dnot remember it at all and can't say I think it's more than boring when I heard it afrtwards and certainly not a fit and catchy winner..

You've obviously not seen any older eurovisions. The impartial judges are always how twas used to be done and it worked seamlessly. And it will remove all the prejudices somewhat.

And no of cause Ayu wont compete; Your not allowed to use super famous singers and I think she may be classed as that seeing how its now 10 years in the business and millions upon millions sold

I'm really glad that Asiavision is including India and Pakistan, people tend not to think of them as Asian countries when they are!

bulmasman 23rd September 2008 09:21 PM

^ good to know... just hope they can get Wogan to return for it

tinka69 25th September 2008 11:20 AM
