Congratulations Ayu! I hope that the & single will sale more then Hikki's "Color" single.

How much did "Colors" sell? Just curious.

I personally don't think it would be that big of a deal if she did or didn't sell more. They're both good artists with very different styles, you know what I mean?

I heard that colors is the 2nd best selling single in 2003 so far. So that means Hikki sold alot for that single. So i am hoping that & single will at least sale more then "Colors". I think that colord sold around 800,000 - 870,000 copies. ( I don't remember how much it exactly sold so I just give out the estimate.)

Colors sold 400,000+ copies the first week (i dont remember the exact number) and it's total sales (881 ,600)exceeded A Ballads sales (875,300) . It'll be great if & could sell that much but i doubt it

Wild! It sold that many copies??? I like Hikki, but I didn't think it was that great of a song at all.

That would be really cool if & could sell more, now that I know the whole story.. mwahahaha..

one of the reason why... hikki may sell more.. is that she dont take out things fast and take her time... so fans as soon as she take out samething new would get.. ill be like and album for them or something...

Just checked up on the Oricon (7/29) - & has dropped to #8. But I'm sure it will go up as the week progresses, usually artists holding the top spots lose them quickly. SMAP is STILL listed. That is crazy, lol.

Only about 75,000 copies? It's going to be very tough for her to get to sell a million. I'm having some doubts about it reaching a million..... Oh well, still a nice single. :)

hmm not bad.. but look at #1! it's sold more than 365,000 copies in only on its first week..WHY?? oh why? AYU only sold less than that!?

Prediction: 1st+2nd+3rd (74,867)= 468,000 ++
and at the 4th week AYU will probably sold more than
40,000 and at 5th week sale AYU will sold not more
than 25,000 and I predict '&' will sold more than =
560,000 ++ copies ('',)

There is a big difference between the daily sales charts and the weekly sales charts. Some people are referring to the daily charts while other people are referring to the weekly charts.

Weekly Sales Charts: #2
Daily Sales Charts: #9

Well, I dunno if we must blame Japan's economy right now. People bought COLORS with only COLORS and Hikari (english version) but why not &????
