Were Ayu and Shu-ya crying @ AT 07?
 

I noticed that the two of them were crying (or close to it) during the appears/part of Me segment of AT 07. Did they really cry?

I don't have any pictures of Shu-ya crying, but if you have watched AT 07, you can tell he looks so depressed in appears, then his eyes look like they're about to burst with tears in part of Me... like Ayu's sadness had transferred over to him...

I just found it kind of upsetting, and beautiful I guess, how songs can affect one's mood.

I assume they where, all the dancers and Ayu seemed to be crying at appears.

And for good reason, imo, since appears talks about a couple breaking up

For appears, I actually kind of thought he was exagerrating at some parts, but overall it was a beautiful perfomance, especially the end, when they parted.

Part of me is one of my favourite perfs just because of that, at least both of their expressions were just about right and stuff. XD

I actually thought Ayu and Shuya were crying during MY ALL during CDL 07-08. Ayu was obvious, she sobs so much when she sings that song. Shuya does a little tear impression during his presentation, but before she starts the dancers introductions, it looks like hes teary from around the middle towards the end.

^ Okay if not then something must have happened to make him almost tear up in MY ALL. His (grand)parents, lover, friends in general... I don't know, anyone of them can be the "you" in MY ALL to him.

It is the emotion of the music.. xD Haha, No I dunno or it is real.. I think it is a great act (like the emotion in Happy Ending of MY STORY tour)

I think he's just a great performer. Remember the CDL0708 behind-the-scenes part? Ayu was saying something about Shuya being a great performer, if I remember correctly.

Though of course, it is real every now and then (MY ALL, untitled, etc.).

Either way it still adds to the performance so I love it.. Except Shuya. He so overacts. @_@ I get annoyed when watching the part of Me performance sometimes. Like OKEEEYY we've seen he's "SAD" already, back to ayu plz? =p

I definitely thought it was just sweat, too... But I did notice that Shu-ya was also crying when Ayu was struggling through MY ALL. God that made ME cry.

It could be sweat, but I don't know how a sweat drop can come from an eye. And it's not like Shu-ya cries at every single upsetting song...

I feel so off-topic now but do you guys notice that Shu-ya is usually isolated and alone in the documentaries? Like Zin and Go-Mi and the other guys would be chatting or talking to Ayu and Shu-ya would just be sitting alone, spacing out. Hmm...

aww...I love the whole Ayu & Shu-ya thing. I personally believe somethings up between them, but that's just my opinion. They make a rather cute couple...but not as cute as the guy dancer that actually looks like Ayu! They looked freakishly perfect together in the [fairyland] PV.

It wouldn't surprise me if they acted MY ALL too tho. To bring it across to the audience and such. They probably said something like "Yar at MY ALL be kind of sad and happy k?".

aaah, maybe they did cry. ayu is known to cry in songs i don't know how about the dancers. well, it's difficult to tell, under all this sweat, because they always deliver such an excellent performance. maybe he was just exhausted

The last one of the Japan tour, yeah~ I'm pretty sure they were really crying.
It's emotional time.. they finished their hard work, etc.

On topic, I really love that Shuya is actually putting emotion into the performance. It makes it more emotional and makes him look better as a performer. It shows he isn't just a dancer who dances and looks pretty around Ayu and her singing.

On a side note, I personally love Ayu and Shuya as a stage couple rather than a real couple. ;)

Well, Ayu cries pretty often in her performances, that I don't exactly think it's fake... too much of a risk to take? She can't be faking every sing time she cries, can she?

Also, I don't think emotions portrayed by Ayu and the dancers are 100% fake. Like for MY ALL, I won't disagree that they were all "asked" to appear bittersweet, so as to match the mood of the song. But to act to such an extent where you actually cry? I don't think any acting comes from that.

Also, what made me think that Ayu was actually crying during appears was that the water droplet seemed to be coming from the eye, and not the cheek.

Thats how much Ayu sweats, so whenever you come across an Ayu hater that claims she had plastic surgery, use that to your advantage! :thumbsup
