AYUMI IS MRS. SUNGLASSES~
 

With only 2 months to go in this year you often start to see more or less interesting awards given to all kind of celebrities for all kind of categories. This year we already had the``21st Megane Best Dresser Awards`` where Shikao Suga took the award in the sunglasses category.

Especially among the music industry there are many people who insist in wearing sunglasses on more than a few occasions or even made them their trademarks. Thus Barks took this as reason to ask people on their site, the core music fans What musician comes to mind when you hear sunglasses ? In total theyve asked 1,263 people and the survey, the 2nd ever user survey of barks was held between September 22 and September 28.

We here are interested about Erika only, so let`s start with the ranking of female musicians.

With 33.3% Hamasaki Ayumi comes at the top of the survey. She has already won in the sunglasses category during the 14th Megane Best Dresser Awards.
Further the people asked were able to make comments about their choices and for Ayu theyve said things like I think she made big sunglasses that popular as they are now. -- When wearing them they say star and it suits her. Her presence as fashion leader is overwhelming.
Especially women in their twenties like to label her as fashion leader or fashion source.

Right next on the 2nd place with 23.2% comes our Erika, but for very different reasons than Hamasaki Ayumi. Such comments like Its the image of Erika-sama. -- Her appearance with big sunglasses at the airport is impressive. and With sunglasses her betsu ni.. would probably be more intense. its clear that she doesnt come to mind as fashion icon anymore, at least not in the first place. The betsu ni incident last year and her numerous appearances at the airport really branded her image. Another difference is also that a lot of people in their teenage years voted for Erika while the votes for Ayu came from people between 20 and 30.

In 3rd place we already have the first foreign female celebrity, Paris Hilton. 12.2% voted for her and the images they have in mind come from the dozens of paparazzi images you see of her almost every week. Further she seems to wear them rather often in talk or variety shows, but they also like how she dresses in general. Sunglasses on Paris give off a wealthy feeling for many people as well.
