Who's the woman that AYU huged on CL 05-06??

Did anyone know who is the woman that AYU huged at the end of Countdown Live 05-06?? I'm curious to know who is her.

I could say she's certainly not Ayu's mom,,

If I'm not mistaken, she appeared somewhere else, on a documentary too, that time I thought Ayu huged her randomly, but with this pic, I became doubt it's random.

My sister said maybe she's a Staff? Food-related (I dunno where do I and my sis got that opinion)

i think she used to work for taking care ayu costume...

I have always thought that she is Ayu's mom... Maybe she was just one of the stuff that Ayu wanted to hug because she was so excited after the concert... or something xD

People thought it was her grandma, and then others were like, definitly not her grandma...maybe i'll look for it.

Pretty sure it isn't her grandma though lol.

I always thought it was her grandmother because she was Ayu's primary caretaker since her mom had to work to support the family but yeah, she would look a lot older. I assume shes still a relative.

maybe is only a staff that ayu really apreciate... thay are always together and sure Ayu love those persons who take care of her... maybe is like a "grandma" ^^

It's not her granny,she died a few days after poker face was released.That's why Ayu doesn't like that song a bit.

I always understood the story as:

Ayu was spending a lot of time in the hospital by her Grandmother's bedside but she had to leave to finish up recording her debut "poker face" and while she was in the studio recording, her Grandmother died.

she is maybe hugging this woman because she is like a grandmother-figure that she never had halfway through her career to support her since her grandmother died at the beginning...maybe someone she calls obaasan :conhuh

Yeah. I'd really like a new version, but I can understand why Ayu isn't too fond of it. I did a big Powerpoint Presentation on her Freshman year in my computers class, complete with CMs and background music for each slide. It was amazing. Lol.

It's been discussed before, though I can't use the search function. I think this is the woman she calls "mom", while "mama" is Mika. What she then calls her real mom, idk. It's confusing.

In the video I understand that AYU says "Okaaasaaan" or "Obasaaan" before she embrace the woman, but I'm not sure at all... :S
Could someone see the video and try to understand what Ayu says on that moment? I love how the woman embrace AYU... it's soooo lovely and tender :D

yep that would have to be it, because i remember reading in some interview or watching a video that ayu only calls her real mom "mommy". i think her mom prefers it that way.

I remember reading the same thing... Maybe Ayu calls this woman "okaasan" because she is a motherly figure to her. Ayu is surrounded by mothers! I guess that's what helps keep her focused and they act as her emotional support throughout life...

From what I can hear, I think Ayu called her "Obaachan" which is basically a more affectionate version of "obaasan". And then they were like saying:

Obaachan: atashi yoroshiku!
Ayu: atashi mo yoroshiku~! Mata neeee~ <3

I know "yoroshiku" means something like "treat me well" but at the end Ayu said "mata ne" which means "see you again". So there's probably a different context of "yoroshiku" in this case. From the "see you again" part, it makes it seem like that's not a person Ayu sees all the time. So it probably is just a staff member who happens to be close to her?

This is such a neat discussion!! I love still learning things about Ayu even though I've been a fan for so long! ^o^ It's so interesting to know that she calls her mom "Mommy." :D

Yeah i do wonder as well. I always thought it was her mother but after reading through this forum... I think she's a relative, maybe her aunt or a friend's mother who treats her really well.

yoroshiku can also mean "i'm glad" and is also often translated "nice to see you" or even "nice to meet you". so i'd say it was ment as "nice to see you" here^^
