So anyway, are there any hairstyles Ayu has had that you dislike?

Her early hair was...different...I usually like all of Ayu's haircuts...but the hair that I absolutely dislike the most...

her A BEST II era hair. Color is horrible, cut is horrible.

It looked fine in the mag scans and stuff of the era. Most of the pictures I see with it are her arriving at airports and such. I really...dislike it...just....:no

What makes it even more horrible...people try to photoshop the image and her hair turns this odd bright yellow orange or something...here, perfect example:

I really like Ayu's hair when it's bouncy/curly - it looks really dead when it's flat and sort of sticks around her face. Like in this picture: Top picture on this page - it kind of looks like she's balding o_O

And the less said about this style the better

her old hairstyles were pretty bad... specially her hairstyle for poker face's pv.. omfg

anyway, i hate her Arena tour 2003 ~ 2004 hairstyle and also A Museum hairstyle.. that simply sucks!!!

and i also hate her a-nation 06 hairstyle. ayu was plump that time. her face was round and they jus had to make her fringe have big curls to make it look fatter.. omg..

I really hate the long, curly hair + bad fringe combo she pulls whenever she is out of ideas (Free & Easy talk show appearances/AT2002, AT2005, AT2006, early JEWEL performances, AT2008 and, well, recently). It looks messy most of the time, and it just feels that her stylist is being lazy.

The absolute worst, though, has to be that ayu ready? episode with Hitomi Shimatani - she looked like Minnie Mouse.

I hate the A Museum hair too. Basically Ayu in braids = :puke

However, hair that I LOVE from Ayu:

- Her SUPER DUPER GORGEOUS hair in AT 06
- Her SUPER DUPER GORGEOUS hair in AT 08/Mirrorcle World era
- Her SUPER DUPER GORGEOUS hair in the GUILTY era (now, that's the short hair that looks nice!)

i agree with waterballoon! her evolution era hair is creepy! she looks like... other people there.

and to be honest, i dont like her short hair. i dislike cover such as guilty, evolution, never ever and the list goes on. she still look the prettiest when her hair is long, curly, with bangs and blonde :heart

When I was following* Ayu in 2007, I really disliked her long (like, super duper long!) hair. When she appeared on TV for that one "glitter" performance and revealed her shoulder-length hair, I was so happy! It looked so much healthier and lighter on her. :)

(* by following, I meant when I was keeping up-to-date with her tour and stuff :laugh)

I also dislike her hair when it's curly and short, kind of like how it is in the "Depend on you" PV. However, it wasn't bad for that one radio interview during/after the release of "talkin' 2 myself." ;)

That's all I can think of for now. :shrug

umm..i loved her a best II and Secret hair..i don't like her WHATEVER hair >_<, but evolution is fine :yes, but my fave of all is Startin' hair <3

Plenty of her hairstyles I don't really like (she does have a ton of them) but I'm REALLY bothered by her MY STORY hair. When she tugged it behind her ears and it kinda went inwards in the back...... not good. An example of that is the Humming 7/4 video.

She kinda reprised that hair in the decision video.

you know, i can't think of one hairstyle that i really dislike. i think alot of them really suit her face. the first one Ayunk posted is pretty bad though as well as alot of her hairstyles in makeup commercials.

i think she looked adorable in her early days with the short sort of curly hair. sometimes her hair does look a little too flat when they straighten it, but alot of the times it looks great IMO. :)

Ayu can rock any style, but i especially like the latest style of her in Taiwan. the long brownish/blonde hair with some curls is probably my favorite.

i think she's beautiful no matter what :D She has the face structure that can pull off any cut and style, i mean, sure, some look better than others, but they always look right on her. I have to say i love her bold and delicious hair and her short fairyland cuts. I dont think i dislike any look cause shes always beautiful and many people would kill to be blessed with the beauty she has:D

I most dislike AT03-04 hair. I think that hair was used for My Story cover as well. It's sort of just random curls everywhere... My favourite would be A Ballads hair. Why can't she look like that all the time.

Any time she's blonde, it just...completely ruins her look for me. >_> I don't think I've ever seen her as a brunette and not liked the way it looked (I loved her hair in Pride, Bold and Delicious, Ladies Night, etc), but blonde just never works for her.

Anyway, anyone remember the style where she did the half-head braids? Like BoA had in Energetic. It just did not fit her to me. At all. Ugh, I think of it now and still hate it.

See, this is the kind of hair I LOVE on her.

But, some of her short hairstyles are horrible.

I love her short hair (especially dark hair) just that particular style I didn't like -- the half cornrows. I don't know why :shrug just didn't fit her to me.
