New Single
stay with me
release 12/10/08

Koda Kumi's 42nd physical single titled "stay with me" is set to be released on December 10, 2008. It is described as a Winter Love Ballad. The single contains the original mix of stay with me, a b-side with a yet to be determined title, a differently arranged version of stay with me, and instrumental versions for both songs. The CD+DVD edition contains 2 versions of the music video for stay with me.

kind of random but i went into kotos the other night and they were playing taboo on the jp radio. my friends (who don't like j-pop/aren't introduced to it) really liked it :)

i think we have one or two more singles to go before we get an album. i would love her to just go ahead and announce the album though :)

I really like the stay with me covers as well. A winter love ballad should be good.

The only ballads (of the ones I've heard from her) I like from Ku are Yume no Uta and Gentle Words. I'm looking forward to the calender though :D

Basically for the regular & limited editions , the only difference's the cover itself & the content's the same for both ?

if so for the limited edition cover , is it a slipcase like her BEST ~SS~ DVD ?

Well no. Both versions have 2 discs. I'm thinking something like B ~ss~ tour where you get a slipcase in the Limited edition.

Everything is the same. Just Limited Edition you will get extra slip case.

I don't remember the B-side of stay with me getting a PV since the DVD tracklist has been confirmed but not the name of the B-side

Oh yea and I'm sorry for the mistake I made about the Kingdom Tour LE having an extra disc xD I was sort of in a bad mood and can't think properly so I just jumped into conclusions anyhow x_X

BTW is it me or does she already have a song that sounds like "stay with me"? At first I thought it was an old Kuu song. It kinda looks like "I'll be there" but there's a song that looks even more like it.. I can't remember which one.

LOL! This cover was pretty easy to make textless since there wasn't alot of color. If you have photoshop you should try doing sometime. Just use the clone stamp. :yes


The preview really grew on me!! It is nothing like MORE!! It's probably just because its another power ballad and has a little bit of soul feeling to it. Oh and jiarongisme I love the coloring you did for your set.

I like those covers even more now that there's no text with them. :) I just hope we could get bigger versions soon. And the title for the b-side. I also hope it would be upbeat song for a change. Kuu has released so much ballads this year (Always, Moon Crying and now stay with me) so that an upbeat song would be a nice change as a b-side. :)

I also love Come Over, even more now after live performances on Black Cherry and Kingdom concerts. Come Over is cool and sweet and makes me happy. :p

Btw, what happened to the last Kumi thread? I wasn't here so I don't know anything and I'm curious. :)

I really really wouldn't mind another PV like you because that PV was just :luv2! I hope we get a GOOD storyline that doesn't look cheap =]

I'm not too sure what to think from the two small pictures for the new PV. I hope Kuu won't let me down since TABOO was awesome.

As for the calendar I would say my favorite would favorite picture is March/April followed by November/December.

Oh wonderful. The PV for stay with me is a lot like Yume no Uta. That's sad, because I'd really like to see something like Kiseki or you once again. :3 But I really hope the PV won't be so similar to Yume no Uta and Ai no Uta. :/
