Ok! Since the last one was inactive! I'm gonna try again! THIS TIME!!! With some introductions to them!!

Bio:
B'z (pronounced Biizu) is a duo featuring vocalist Inaba Koshi and guitarist Matsumoto Tak.

B'z debuted in September 1988 with the album B'z and single Dakara Sono Te wo Hanashite. Their fifth single, Taiyou no Komachi Angel, was the first single to debut at #1. Each of their following singles and albums have also reached #1. Their fourth full album, RISKY, not only scored #1 on the Oricon Charts, but stayed in chart rankings for 132 weeks (2 and a half years). They are easily the best selling Japanese group of all time with a reported 75 million albums being sold to date and have ranked #1 in album, single and overall sales in Japan.

Great idea, I never knew the best j-band of all times even had a thread on AHS!

Anyway, any new-single news? It's about time to release a new one, 2008 has been their first year since 2002 with only one single released

I like a song here and there, but their music hasen't really changed much throughout the years. I think my two favourite B'z songs are itsuka no merry christmas and negai! :love

Props for this thread, they totally deserve one.

Last I heard, they released B'z The Best "Ultra Treasure". Other than that... I haven't heard anything about them releasing a single. :( I only wish that I could find a link to Koshi or Tak's blogs! DX

Well I'm 24 at the moment.... It happened when I was 19, and it's STILL one of the best moments of my entire life.

(And the "Winter Gift" is christmasy re-release packaging of the ULTRA BEST releases, they're SOOO CUTE. ^__^ I want them so I can put them next to my red version of The Ballads ~Love & B'z~ on my shelf!!!)

& i'll always love Tak Matsumoto for composing my favorite boyband's debut single (KAT-TUN's "Real Face"). :heart

yeah Matsumoto did an amazing job composing Real Face be it for the single or album version of the tune & hats off to Suga Shikao with regards to the lyrical aspect of the song :heart :smitten

& same like me , I was real impressed with Ichibu to Zenbu / DIVE & I hope MY LONELY TOWN will be another top notch single of the guys

they actually played ichibu to zenbu ballad version in BUZZER BEAT. or at least i think it's that, since it was a slow ballad-like version. it's not bad, but i prefer the original.

I think it's great that they will be crossing 300K next week & considering that Ichibu to Zenbu / DIVE was only released in 1 edition , it's saying something about their selling power despite being in the business for 20 + years & counting

^They've ALWAYS released in one edition! :laugh The only times they've released in more than one edition was their best albums and SPLASH! (when it came in 4 limited editions with different songs and 3 were CD+DVD format).

Does anyone know other than HMV where can i get B'z concert DVDs? hoping to get them personally and not via internet for now. The last time i went HMV they said something but not carrying the DVDs now b/c of some problems

since you're a S'porean like myself , then I'm sorry to say that the only way for you to get their concert DVDs is though online

the local HMVs were able to carry Japanese import DVDs in the past pretty freely but not anymore after stricter censorship rules were implemented

that & also the DVD codes for Japan & S'pore's different so , sorry to burst your bubble on that

so the only way for you to get their concert DVDs's though online
